Nancy | 2838 comments We're now accepting nominations for June - July.

Please read the rules for nominating BEFORE you create your post!! And check our bookshelves to be sure you are not nominating something we have already read as a group!

We will have two categories this month:
Cat1- LGBT Fiction/Non-Fiction
Cat2- Romance

Only ONE nomination per person.
If you nominate a book for category 1, you CANNOT nominate a book for category 2, and visa versa.

Please be sure to post the title, author, and the category it belongs to.

If your post does not have those three things, it will not be counted.

Ralph Gallagher | 210 comments I'll nominate Promises by Marie Sexton for Category 2. It's available in both eBook and Paperback format from Dreamspinner Press.

William Cooper (roguecooper) | 8 comments Would it be bad form to nominate myself? =D

message 12: by Nancy (new)

Nancy | 2838 comments Authors can nominate themselves, as long as they are willing to participate in the discussion.

Emilie what do you think about the idea that if an author nominates him/herself (and wins) then we have a q and a with the author as part of the discussion?

message 14: by Paul (new)

Paul Jr. (paulgbensjr) | 144 comments I'd humbly like to throw my book Kelland into the mix as well for Category 1

I think that's a wonderful idea, Emilie!

Nancy | 2838 comments The polls are up!

message 18: by Nancy (new)

Nancy | 2838 comments For some reason, the second poll only got sent to 225 members per Goodreads limitations. So I'll send it out again tomorrow and hope no one yells at me for spamming them. :)

If Kelland ends up the choice, I'm sure I can find something to say. ;-)

message 20: by Nancy (new)

Nancy | 2838 comments Kelland and Ash are now tied at 10 votes each!

message 21: by Paul (new)

Paul Jr. (paulgbensjr) | 144 comments Oh wow. Now that's cool. Glad Kelland survived the battle with Ash. I'm around to discuss if and when people work their way through.

Thanks all!

message 22: by Nancy (new)

Nancy | 2838 comments I'm planning to start Kelland when I'm finished with Saying Uncle, which I was thrilled to find at the library.

I HAVE to pick up Gifune now.

Paul Jr. (paulgbensjr) | 144 comments BTW...Juniper brought this up in another thread but I can't find it. My publisher has been temporarily out of stock of Kelland for a few days (they got hit with an influx of orders that took them by surprise). But I noticed today that Casperian updated the website that

New stock is due to arrive on June 3rd, 2010

So if anyone has been trying to order direct from the pub, there's the update. And I think US Amazon still has a few, but I haven't checked in a while.
