SOmmer settled into her seat on the plane. She wasn't really sure why she was leaving town but she was

Theo glanced out the window, Papa Roach blasting through his eardrums. He moved his bag to allow a girl to jostle her way into the seat next to him.

Sommer took out her summer reading book

((OMG we r on at same time :D))

((YESSSSSSSS)) Theo pulled out his theory of anatomical dissection, and turned his ipod up.

((are they sitting next to each other?))

Sommer took her iPOd out. She turned on Nevershoutnever!

((yup)) He flipped the page to a particularly grotesque page, and turned his ipod up as the girl next to him let out a gasp of disgust.

Sommer looked at what he was looking at and gasped. She quickly turned away

((u still here?))

((srry i had to unload the dish washer.)) "What's wrong." It wasn't a question. He already knew why she was gasping.

((lol okay))

"Sorry." Sommer said, "I uh just don't usually see pictures like that."

"Well, I see the real deal every day. Hence the fact that I'm on a plane to Hawaii. Even I need a break once in a while."

"Aren't you a little young for that sort of job?" Sommer asked

"Yes. I am. But I'm still doing it. I kinda dropped out of high school, so I got a high paying job to support myself. I'm back in high school though…"

Sommer nodded slightly. She wasn't used to a lot of conversation. Back at her school, she was always on outcast because she was a scholarship kid

"I got in on scholarship. I don't know what to expect…"

"I'm a schlorship kid too." Sommer said, "At a boarding school on the East Coast."

His eyebrows raised in surprise. "Which one?"

"Easton Academy." Sommer said, "It's just outside of Boston."

"I just enrolled in Easton!"

Sommer smiled, "That's great." she said, "When you start this fall I'll show you around."

"Thanks. Oh, and are you here on the back to school trip?"

Sommer nodded slightly, "I don't know why I came though. None of the other schlorship kids came so none of my friends came." she said

"Oh really? Are people prejudice against smaart people? It's only because they're uneducated…"

"No they aren't prejudice against smart people." Sommer said, "Just poor people."

"Well, not all smart people are poor."

"And not all smart people are on scholarship." Sommer said, "The rich smart people aren't treated as bad as the rest of us."

He rolled his eyes. "That's what I hate about people."

"Same here." Sommer said

((kk bye!)) "Oh, it looks like the plane is taking off…"

Sommer turned to the window. She always looked out the window as the plane took off and landed

He put his ipod back in, and flipped the page. He didn't know why he was reading it--he could write a better one than this guy had.

Sommer looked around the plane double checking to see if any of her friends did end up coming. Sadly none of them did

"Who are you looking for?"

"I was just checking to see if one of my friends ended up coming." SOmmer said, "Some of them weren't sure if they'd be able to because of the costs."

"Oh, all right. No! This book is so wrong." He procured a red pen from his bag, and began marking the pages.

"What's wrong with it?" Sommer asked

"Well, it's just… not technical procedure…" ((g2g my DAD IS STARING OVER MY SHOULDERRRRRRR :O ))

"Oh...." Sommer said. It all looked the same to her

He put the book back into his bag, and resorted to attempting to sleep.

Sommer finished her book after a while and went through her bag looking for the latest book in the series she liked

"Hey, are you the new scholarship kid?" One of the jocks in front of them asked. Theo opened his eyes, and closed them again.
"Hey! I'm talking to you."
He opened his eyes again. "Okay."
"I asked you a question, kid."
Theo raised his eyebrow, and crossed his arms. "Okay."
"Do you know who I am, punk? My dad owns the ___ (whatever state the school is in) branch of Unicare Hospital, and is the second best surgeon in the branch." the jock said with pride.
Theo laughed, and rolled his eyes. "My family owns the Unicare Hospital branch worldwide. And, I myself happen to be the lead surgeon in the branch. And the lead autopsist. I can afford to pay for this school, but I--unlike you--actually have enough brains to make it in on scholarship."

Sommer turned away from them. That same jock pretended to date her last year because she seemed vulnerable

The jock turned around, his ears red, and Theo grinned triumphantly.

Sommer smiled a little.

"I hate jocks who think that they're so great because they can afford the school. They only have to pay because they're not smart enough."

Sommer laughed, "That's for sure." she said

He laughed. "So where are you from?"
