Well, this group has been out of activity for too long, in my opinion :p
So we can share our, um, passion for our favorite books/series, I suggest we recommend books we love!

Okay, so I've got to start, I guess.

I recommend:

-Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead (for Vampire fans but also for non-vamp people. I wasn't particulary fond of vampires either :p)
-Wake series by Lisa McMann (It's sooo good! Highly recommended for paranormal fans, but it's not required in order to love this series, in my opinion)
-Night World by L. J. Smith is good, if you're into vampire, werewolf, witch and shapeshifter society.
-books by Sarah Dessen (for YA books lover :D)
-Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz (another vampire series, but it's pretty cool)
-Impossible by Nancy Werlin (I love this book!)
-Darkest Powers by Kelley Armstrong (pretty creepy at first, but highly addictive. It's about supernaturals, meaning necromancers, sorcerers, witches, half-demons, werewolves...but no vampires)
-Mortal Instruments (I don't think I need to recommend them for they're so famous:p)
-Sweep series by Cate Tiernan (I LOVE this series!! Totally un-put-downable books about mordern(?) Wicca)

I guess that's everything :)

Lizz (Beer, Books and Boos) Darkness Chosen series by Christina Dodd

Thanks for recommending, Lizz! I'll check it out :)

Lindsay Paige (authorlindsaypaige) I love half of the books you recommended Ginny! I haven't read Blue Bloods, Wake series, Vampire Academy, or all of the Sweep books. I think I'll have to add The Secret Circle series by L.J. Smith and the Study series by Maria V. Snyder those are MUST reads.

They're on my TBR list too! :)

I would also recommend The Clique series by Lisi Harrison and Private series by Kate Brian(if you like books about friendship, gossip and, well, school-stuff.)

Lindsay Paige (authorlindsaypaige) Nineteen Minutes- Jodi Picoult. I loved this book.

What's it about??

Lindsay Paige (authorlindsaypaige) Sterling is an ordinary New Hampshire town where nothing ever happens--until the day its complacency is shattered by an act of violence. Josie Cormier, the daughter of the judge sitting on the case, should be the state's best witness, but she can't remember what happened before her very own eyes--or can she? As the trial progresses, fault lines between the high school and the adult community begin to show--destroying the closest of friendships and families.Nineteen Minutes asks what it means to be different in our society, who has the right to judge someone else, and whether anyone is ever really who they seem to be.

^^ That's from GoodReads. The act of violence it mentions is a school shooting.

Interesting... Have you read other books by Jodi Picoult? I have The Tenth Circle and My Sister's Keeper on my to-read list...

Lindsay Paige (authorlindsaypaige) My Sister's Keeper will be the next one I will read. I have read Perfect Match and Handle with Care both are good.
