I've read all the Mercy Thompson series (just once)and will hopefully start Cry Wolf soon. I tried reading Cry Wolf first, but never finished it. I think I will like it much more now that I've read the others.
I'm in b/w PB books. I'll probably read Iron Kissed next. I have some challenges to complete in May and June.
I just finished Silver Borne (Mercedes Thompson, #5) and I'm stunned. It is unbelievably awesome. I'm exhausted just from reading it, but in a good way. And Adam......swoon!!.....Adam is THE MAN.

I'd have to disagree. Remember Adam is a product of the 60s. He's an older wolf. I see him more like a young, fit & buff military type man.
Shaedes of Gray , by Amanda Bonilla
Dead on the Delta by Stacey Jay
Kindling the Moon , by Jenn Bennett

Liz--how are you like Girl? I just finished that one. And did you get the prequel? The Strange Case of Finley Jayne
Ann aka Iftcan wrote: "Liz--how are you like Girl? I just finished that one. And did you get the prequel? The Strange Case of Finley Jayne"I just finish it and absolutely Loved it!!!!! I did read
first and liked it. Can't wait for
to know what's up with Jasper!!!!!!
I am into the 3rd book of the Sunny Baca series by Rudolfo Anaya called Shaman Winter The writing is excellent. The series is more reality based however there are evil "Brujos" (wizards or witches),shamans who can turn into owls and coyotes as well as curanderas(healers or in this series are like white witches).
Carolyn, lmk if you like the Kitty book. I enjoyed that series, and have the newest one on my Nook to read. Just gotta plow through the million and one OTHER books that I have on my TBR list.
Lady Danielle "The Book Huntress" wrote: "Shaman Winter sounds interesting, Jalilah. Thank you for the heads up."Zia Summer and Rio Grande Fall are the first 2. If you have never read Anaya before Bless Me, Ultima is a good place to start.
Sherri I agree. I am holding myself back from buying the audio today and starting on it immediately. I may want a treasure to listen to in a few months during the looong wait for the next Mercy. I am finishing up the audio of Soulless and then I will go back to listening to A Bad Day for Sorry and I am reading Sacrificial Magic

I finished
, I like her contemporary books more.I'm switching back and forth between
and
and listening to the audiobook of
.
Just finished
and about to start book 6. I love the Kitty books too. Have read all the PB except Fair Game: waiting to get the US covers in paperback in UK.

I was thinking the Kitty Katt books by Gini Koch
, although I did like the Kitty Norville books too. :)
Carolyn F--yeah, we were talking about the Kitty Katt books, but the Kitty the Were-wolf books are also really good. And, for humour and were-wolves (in this case BORN were-wolves) with weird names, there is the Tabby the Were-wolf book that's part of the Halle Puma series. Bear Necessities is her book.
Almost halfway through
, I already read
. I enjoyed Cry Wolf so decided to go back and read the first book series she wrote.
Moon Called #1 is such a good opening book for the MT series. In contrast Magic Bites #1 was a really bad opening novel (Kate Daniels series) but I'm currently reading Magic Burns #2 which thankfully is much better.
I'm reading both the Mercy & A&O series, but I'm behind on the latter. Is there a particular order we should be reading the two series? The timelines parallel don't they?
