I though I would start a folder where we could put books that we are willing to pass along.

Once I get myself organised, I'll put out a list of my own...we might have to arrange our own Book Swap!

I see a centrally located coffee shop, a beverage of choice,and a table full of books.

I am taking a couple of days off from the book drive so I am available anytime Wednesday or Thursday. Do you have a favorite coffee shop? Name a time and place.

I can do Wednesday now. Depending where yoou two are. two favorites of mine are Cafe Fantastico on Kings near Quadra or the Black Stilt on Hillside at Shelbourne. I also love Bubba Rose's on Cook.

Either Fantastico or Black Stilt are close for me. I have to drive my kids around at 2:00 or so but any time before that works for me.

How about 1:00 at the Black Stilt? I'll be the one with a whak of books. And Dot, does this work for you?

I'm not able to come today I'm afraid...too much going on this week...but I'll join you next time if I may.

John, why don't we wait until Dot can join us. More books and I would get to meet both of you. I have a basket full of books that need a good home.

We can do that if you want. I will be helping with Book Drive cleanup next Monday to Wednesday and Friday we are heading up to the interior for a week. So next Thursday or after the 29th would be the next good times for me. How is that for you two?

Next Thursday is good for me and I'm flexible re: time right now.

You sound like a dedicated book drive volunteer. I think the Drive and all the people who work for it each year is one of the things that makes our community so unique.

I am driving for Visiting Library Services that morning but I am usually finished by around 11:00. So I will pencil in a book swap for later that day on my social calender.

As far as I can tell, there is nothing on my calendar for that day...so yes...i think I'll be there.

OK, books and beverages at The Black Stilt on Thursday May 20 at 2:00 PM. Sounds good.

I have 2 Bookscrossing books to release, both paperback light mysteries by Stephen Booth. Black Dog is available immediately and the other will be available as soon as I have read it.
