Well... hey. I'm Ilana, I am a Ninja, and... I think pirates are cool, so I guess in a way I am a filthy traitor. Sorry.

We are The Ninjas of Goodreads, the Ninja Family, the Writing Ninjas. We will try not to sound conceited, but the fact is, on this fantastic website that changed my life, there are the 13 Ninjas…

…And then there are the rest of you.

We all know you want a chance to talk to us, get to know us. We see how much you want to stand in our shadow and bask. Wait… scratch that, it sounded egotistical. We truly want to give you all a chance to be our friends, to make your way to the top. You will be able to be able to ask questions, have nice, random, silly conversations with the most awesomesauce of all people. We will even sign autographs, let the newbies swarm in and take ov— Whoa there, bad memories. Nevermind.

Not bad…I may not be "The Ninja", but I might be "The _____"… I'll have to fill in the blank someday.

Well, I just meant... You know how we have been calling our little group of friends "The Ninjas"? You might be a ninja, but your not really a "Ninja." It's not a bad thing.

So at the moment we have three, maybe four, mods missing / not in the group yet. Brigid, Kim and Juliet... and possibly Tink.
