Hey!! I have read some really good folklore from Japan which includes Peachboy: A Japanese Folktale and The Boy Who Drew Cats. Also, there is an audio cd version of these tales Rabbit Ears Treasury Far East Folktales: Peachboy, The Boy Who Drew Cats. What Japanese folklore books have you read?

When I was in Japan last year I was very pleased to find this book (in English ;)) with old Japanese ghost stories.

"That sounds very interesting Sue-Ann!! I was always a huge fan of ghost stories, so I might pick up this book sometime!
Hello there! I have just marked Marguerite Yourcenar's Oriental Tales as To-Read: It's meant to be an exquisite interpretation of some of the most well known Japanese fairy tales , like the Kitsune fox women. It's a book I've been meaning to read for years, has anyone here read it already?
I'd love some thoughts on it.
