Are there plans to run Infinite Summer again this year? I think I'm ready to reread IFINITE JEST, and doing it with a group was good times.

as someone who didn't manage to finish the first time round, I'd love a second try :) it'd be awesome if Infinite Summer was running again this year
I was planning on re-reading it again this summer, since I find my mind returning to its themes all the time. I'd be game for round 2!
Im about to finish The Broom of the System and if we start around 6/21, or whenever time around there, that would give me time to read another book before delving back into Wallace land. A nice break to clear the mind before trying to tackle the tome: Infinite Jest.
I'd definitely like to read Infinite Jest with a group this summer (2010). I missed the Infinite Summer group in 2009. I have a feeling I'll need all the input I can get on this one. But I'm up for it.-Victoria
Does anyone know anything about "Although of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself: A Road Trip With David Foster Wallace" by David Lipsky ?
So, since there is interest in doing another Infinite Summer, let's set a date to start. Someone suggested starting around 6/21; are there any objections to that date?
A group of us have an infinite jest reading club going. We're using the same schedule as infinite summer 2009. If you'd like to join, I can invite you to our wordpress blog. Just let me know!
I'm definitely up for trying again this summer, after last summer's epic fail of an attempt. Karapety, would you mind sending the link to the blog?

Here's the link for anyone that's interested. If you'd like to actually join the blog, let me know so I can have the blog admin send you an invite. http://infiniteshambles.wordpress.com/

It's basically the transcript of Lipsky's 5 day interview with Wallace for Rolling Stone. I've thumbed through it. Looks interesting especially if you are interested in knowing more about Wallace, his feelings about Infinite Jest, his battles with depression, etc.

Great audio of David Lipsky speaking about his experience interviewing David Foster Wallace. Includes audio of Wallace himself as well. Listen here: http://bit.ly/d2urWS
