Hello, Hello, Hello.

I had two of my boys turn older this month. This makes me feel old. Grr... But we had a wonderful B-day party yesterday. He had so much fun that they didn't ask about the cake or presents. We had to wrestle them to the table. We were just at a park but there must be something about having so many friends in one area that makes it fun.

So, I am about to start The Host. Any recommendation for a great summer read once I'm done with the could-kill-someone-with-my-heavy-heavy-heavy-book????

Question? Do we post our reviews under your reviews or ??

Kate have you added anything new to your blog lately or are you thinking about going back into blogging?

Haha, The Host is HUGE! I remember bringing it to school with me when it first came out when I was in 8th grade. Everyone would kind of stare since it's so huge and the cover is so different. I have to admit that I kind of hid it for a while. Some people just don't understand what it is to love to read, hope that made sense.
Tell your boys Happy Birthday! Ummm. I'm thinking of starting a folder for member reviews and each person could have there own? Would that work out for everyone? About the blogging, I haven't added anyhting new. Originally my blog was going to be my ning site and this group but it didn't work out so great so I created the other two. I'd definitly consider going back to blogging. Why? What do you have in mind? Or was that just a question with no ulterior-motive? Okay now I'm sounding stupid.
P.S. I know I've spelled the word definitly wrong in many other post but I now realize that and have since then changed the spelling of it for future posts. Sorry I think I told everyone I'm a terrible speller.

Sounds good. I think a thread for member reviews would be nice. I'd like my own. Although, I'm just going to post links to my blog. But with not being bias my blog is awesome!!!

Hmm... I'd be open for doing a group blog.

I'm loving The Host so far. It is holding my attention very well and I can't wait to get farther into the book. Only at page 75.

I'm glad you're liking The Host. I remeber being very skeptical about reading it but I loved it! It was actually better than New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn for me. It's kind of tied with Twilight, well if I'm being honest I thought it was a little ahead of Twilight.

I think doing a group blog would be really cool! Just let me know if you want to do one or anyhting else about it!

I haven't gotten much further into the book because I got whisked away on a camping trip. It was actually the first one my boys have been on so I had to help them adapt to the life. Hopefully next time I will be able to have some time to myself.

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

Group blog would be fun. I'm going to see if I can find some others that would like to be apart of the group blog.

Think of some nifty titles...

I am partial for The Love of Reading.

Because of course, we all love to read. :)

That would be a really good title since we all do in fact Love to Read. Camping sounds like a lot of fun but I'd need something electronic! Lol, how did your boys adapt? I bet they loved it! Where'd you guys go? And we'll definitly have to look into the group blog!

So how many more excuriating days of school do you all have left?

message 10: by Jem (new)

Jem (toomanybooksforfaviourates) 5 weeks. With lots of projects, exams, homework, tests, presentations - the works!

5 weeks! Where on Earth do you go to school? My last exam is next Thurs. and tomarrow is our last full day, Fri. being a senoir luncheon thing.

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

I've been done for awhile now. Two or three weeks.

We went camping at Govern Dodge State Park a bit west of Madison. It was really nice. My phone and my nook had 5 bars in the middle of no where. I was happy about that so I kept sneaking on to see what was going on.

Lucky! Well I guess colleges do get out a bit faster than high school and down. I have a half day tomarrow, senior luncheon, and then three half days of exams next week then I'm out I'm out! Finally. Unfortunatly after my first week of freedom we're going up north, about an hour outside of Hayward. The bad thing is is I have no acess to good reads at all, unless I break into someones house who has internet! And the lake there is like only five feet deep with a load of mucky yuck on the bottom. Eww!

And lucky with the five bars! Mine wouldn't get anything, I bet. I've never been to Dodge State Park, I'll have to go sometime.

Oh, just to let everyone hear know today is the last day that Barnes and Noble is having up to 50% off of all teen books! It's not all 50% off but it's all at least a little off. Thought I'd let everyone know!

In case you didn't get it, I live in Australia. : )

I'm sorry Jem, I don't exactly understand. Wait that sounds like a song. It is right?

Well I thought I'd let everyone know that I am in the current process of making a youtube channel. I've been reluctant to make one before you know what they say, everything you put on the internet stays on the internet even if you delete it. And colleges and jobs look at that stuff so I'm not sure if I'll actually do anyhting with it yet. And I'm not exactly sure how it's going to work but I think I'll be putting up some reviews and book hauls on it. Not really sure uf I'll have the guts yet to actually post something but we'll see. Let me know if you think it's a good idea.

message 16: by Jem (new)

Jem (toomanybooksforfaviourates) Yeah, it's an Aussie song. You should listen to it on Youtube it's called Waltzing Matilda - it's a really good song. AND it is not about a girl named Matilda.

I'll have to listen to it for sure!

Just deleted my youtube account, decided the possible small but still possible risk of my future was to big to play around with, Thanks Elyssa!

message 18: by Jem (new)

Jem (toomanybooksforfaviourates) Well, better to be safe than sorry!

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

That is kind of what I said. I'm not on youtube much but it is always hard to say who is going to google you and once it is on the open net you are screwed.

message 20: by Jem (new)

Jem (toomanybooksforfaviourates) I agree.

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

I've heard of tunnels but I haven't gotten it yet. I think it is supposed to be kind of like Harry Potter.

message 29: by AAAlien (new)

AAAlien uhm i don't think it's anything like HP :P it's about a boy who diggs (tunnels xD), and well this far he seems to have found something strange :P

message 30: by Zakiya (new)

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) | 201 comments Mod
Oh okay. That doesn't sound anything close to HP, but it does sound pretty good. Tell me if you enjoy that one as well. :)

message 31: by AAAlien (new)
