Angie, I finished before the month started. I've done that every time because I've been afraid that I wouldn't get the books read otherwise. But, I'm going to rethink my strategy because by the time the group starts discussing our books, I've read a couple/few other books since, and my memories aren't as fresh. I really enjoyed it; I hope that you do too.
I've just picked up the book from the library, so I should be getting a start on it over the weekend. I do have a couple of other book club books I need to read, as well, but this looks like a fairly quick read so I should be able to knock it out.
Started it last night and finished it at lunch today. It's a quick read, but very enjoyable. I miss the characters already. My real-life book group is reading it this month.
I just started reading it yesterday. Seems neat so far. I like the drawings that are featured so far.
Better late than never. I finished it yesterday. I really enjoyed it. Junior really reminded me a lot of some of the Indians I have known. The descriptions of rez life seemed very sad but realistic. And his problems with Rowdy very believable.I liked his determination and the strength he found inside himself when it seemed like he couldnt. And the drawings were fantastic and made me laugh a lot.
All in all, I really enjoyed the book!
