Hannah This is the best movie ever. I love fashion. This movie and book is about fashion. Me and my aunt mary love the movie of this book.

Jackie I read the book, before seeing the movie. I loved the book, however I wished they had not cut some of the things from the book out of the movie.

I loved the singing doorman. He was great. And the Starbuck was so real. I could have seen myself doing something like that.

Lori I loved the book, hated the movie---you could hardly understand what she was saying half the time and it ruined my impression of the whole story.

Krissy I agree, Bella...movie wasn't nearly as good as the book!

Kara Rutledge I loved the movie. It was so much better than the book. The book was very disappointing.

Krizza Sombra i loved the movie-maybe because anne is my favorite..lol

Hels Taylor I couldn't get into the book, but was happy to stare at the movie. Very unusual!

message 8: by Natalie (new)

Natalie I freakin love this movie because it had two of my favorite actresses: Meryl Streep who can step into any role and rock it and Anne Hathaway who can do the same thing!

Maetzin It just happened the same as with all the books that become a movie... the book is always better. BUT I liked more that in the book she didn't breake up with her boyfriend and in the book she did... (or at least I remember that it has a loooong time I read it =P )

Lauren I loved the movie but not the book. It was very heaving reading it because it appeared many names of brands and if you are like me, I don't know any cloth of any brand, and I was lost all the time. I enjoyed much more the movie although it was very commercial.

Kc Stone I also loved the movie! You're right Laura, too much heaving reading makes me want to skip on parts of the book.

I wouldn't say the book was very disappointing but I did find the movie to be more enjoyable. The acting was just superb! The book was funny too but the movie made me fall in love with the story.

Brianna I personally did not read the book and now that I have saw the movie, I will never read the book. The movie wasn't all fireworks and candy, but it was decent.

I haven't seen the movie for a while but from what I remember it was o.k.

Pat Gerber-Relf I read this book because it was there, not my sort of thing, but yes, it was good and I enjoyed it. The movie was something completely different. Well known actors and actresses portraying the book people. It was a good movie, it was a good book, but not exactly the same thing.

message 16: by Dana (new) - rated it 3 stars

Dana Wolverton I saw the movie first and love it, watch it every chance I get. I liked the book also although it was somewhat different than the movie.

C. I liked the film much more than the book. I personally found book-Andy to be annoying and Miranda to be incredibly one-dimensional. The film added a lot of depth into Miranda's character (Meryl Streep was superb as well) and allowed Andy to be less annoying.
