Role Play
Hours later, exhausted, Muriu could fly no more. She tumbled down out of the sky, to tired to care about anything anymore, and let the wind carry her. She landed on a rough mountain side, right in front of a beautiful rose bush. She observed the beautiful bush, and her interest in life was renewed. She sat up, and folded her wings, looking at the rose bush.
Pyra was trotting along merrily following a young rabbit, that was unaware of the small red dragon following it. when the rabbit did notice, it shot off in one direction, and dived into a rose bush. Pyra followed at full speed, smashing into something big and hard.
Muriu felt someone bump into her. Turning, she saw a small red dragon. "Sorry, is this your resting spot?" she asked, remembering that some dragons could be very territorial. Then she realized who was in front of her.
"You're another dragon!" she roared triumphantly. "I KNEW I wasn't the only one!"
((how could she know that they were territorial if she did not know any dragons))flame ate the deer then licked his claws
Pyra looked curiously at the large dragon. "Nope. I was chasing the bouncer!" She looked around, "but it's gone now... Is this your resting spot?"
Dahrian looked up from his perch on a rocky outcropping where he was watching the ocean and snorted. Then he spread his wings and took to the air.
Tridion looked up at the stranger who was staring up at his sea. As he left, he thought finally!. He did not like others.
Dahrian flew over the ocean, watching its graceful waves and the creatures that lived in it.
Electra flew high over the mountian peaks. High enough for anything but dragons to run out of oxygen and suffocate. It was bone chillingly cold up here, but she didn't mind. The skye was her haven, her safeplace. After she had lost her original Rider, she could barely stand to live, but now, years later, she's slowly recovered.
Dahrian saw a dragon high above him and he flew up to greet her.
Electra tucked in her left wing and banked left. She sensed the presence of another dragon, she knew this because nothing else could survive up here. She roared and thunder cackled around her.
Dahrian roared in reply and the sky began to darken.
((Scary.....))Tridian noticed the thunder and lightning way above him, and growled. It could only be dragons that were causing a disturbance in the weather.
((haha!))Electra was not in the mood to toy around with this hatchling. She willed thunder clouds to roll in around her. Lightening flashed, sending sudden bursts of light where she flew.
Feeling extremely annoyed today, Tridian decided to shoot of a powerful storm of water at the two dragons. He found the coldest patch in his ocean, and sent it up at the two dragons. As it raised to the high altitudes, it began to freeze, turning into a 1 mile long, sharp spear. It was aimed for the two dragons.
((Um, Dahrian is male.))
Dahrian noticed the spear and roared a warning to Electra, then flew out of the way.

Scram watched the battle with concern. I could feel her torment, so I comforted her while drawing my sword. It's fine, I told her, they're dragons. You guys are practically idestructible. Ah well, let's go see if any of these guys have Riders. She nodded and lauched herself into the air, nearly throwing me from my perch on her back.

Fireball was chasing a bouncer. She wanted to play with it. She looked back, and she couldn't see her sister, or her mother. She decided to stop chasing the bouncer, and find her family. She started calling them, "Mom? Pyra? Where are you?"

((dude, Electra is like 10 miles up, not one.))Electra saw the spear coming. She willed lightning to come forth and obliterate the ice. She roared in triumph.
Thank you Andy for adding this discussion, I was not able to be on for a while. This is great but the role play is hard ot follow. Maybe you should make longer stories so they are easier to follow, not just one sentence.

I thought those horrible dragon slayers had wiped them all out; but apparently I was wrong!"
She'd gotten over her surprise of the two dragons next to her, the small red one and the larger one on her right who seemed to be the red one's elder.
Spotting some crickets with her sharp vision, she scoped them from the grass with her sturdy tail, and munched on them. Crickets were her favorite snack. She hummed in contentment.
Dragons, crickets, the rose bush...This day was getting better and better.
((How's that?))
Dahrian growled to himself, then dove towards the forest. He saw a small group of dragons below and flew down, landing nearby.
*NO NAME* SO DON'T TRY! wrote: "Sirius flew overhead."((Hello, message 30? It would help to post longer posts so we know where your charrie is and who he/she is with, and to add more DETAIL.))
Scram circled the group of dragons that was talking by the rosebush. We noted that none of them were carrying Riders."Odd," I said aloud, "I thought there were more of us.
I know, replied Scram, I did too. Ah well, let's just hope they don't eat you the second we land. She swooped down to the left of the group. I hopped off her back, sword at the ready, then walked calmly into the midst of their group.
"Hi!"
Electra snorted. Where did those dragons wander off to? she wondered. She tucked in both wings and dived downward and blinding speeds until the clouds around faded and the ground came into veiw. She didn't like being this low, it was so warm down here compared to the frigid air above.
Electra saw the elegnat gleam only a dragon's scales could produce. She arched her neck upward and saw a golden dragon above. So many dragons at once. She thought. What is going on?
Tridian felt a large mass of dragons, and not wanting to be noticed, dove deeper into his ocean. Nobody will ever bother me after that incident........
Muriu's eyes gleamed as she took in the human. She flapped her wings, and the earth shook once more; hatred filled her entire being.Through the flame leaking from her maw, she roared with hate, "How DARE you come here, human! Mortal scum. YOUR RACE killed MY FAMILY!" Her tail lashed.
Dahrian heard the roar of fury and darted in front of the human. "Stop," he said firmly. "She has obviously not made any threatening moves; there is no justice in killing her now."
Dahrian glanced at Sirius, thankful that he wasn't the only one that thought killing this human out of spite was unwise.
While the dragons were arguing whether or not to kill the rider, Tridian had ideas on how to kill her quickly. He found a spot from the ocean that was close enough to draw in the human, and began singing. His lullaby would draw in any any creature of lower intelligence, meaning anything besides other dragons.

It was a dragon Slayer called Oram who killed my family."
Now, the earth shook in a different, slow, way. A sad way. She found herself holding back tears. When a dragon cries, the tears fall to the ground as diamonds; she didn't want to evoke this human's greedy side.

Have all the dragons died? She thought, barely suppressing her horror. No..they can't all have...I must hope.
She clung desperately to the only possession she had left in this barren world: hope.
Muriu flew onwards.
