The dogs have been recruted or stollen from their home to work as sled dogs for the people in the gold rush. They are in alaska looking for gold with some nice and some not so nice masters. They stop at camps occasionally to resore there supplies. The idea is that they must become tuff enough to survive the wild and they must earn respect of the team. Stealing portions of food and quarreling is a comman thing among them and if they dont do what they are told they get beaten with a club or wipped. Master's come and go and sometimes dogs diea nd new dogs take there place. Any questions?
