1. Any "how to" education about praying/meditating for my children has come from me, so at our church, this hasn't changed from when I was a UU child and got my prayer education from the "Little House" books and an adult who snuck back to my room during a party of my parents and instructed me to say, "Jesus, please clear all of my sins," every night. (ugh)2. 100% multigenerational worship services. Did rotational/inter-age model RE for a couple of years. Love the first. Hard to say on the second. Ours got watered down, due to having a small group of students. Would still love to see it done in a large congregation.
3. More focus on missional church practices and vision.
4. I'd like to start with a paid DRE. But I'm all for it, with the proviso that it be a *UU*. Seems like once money is involved, we prioritize professional experience over religion.
