Well, since this group is called "YA Book Addicts", I thought Why not?

So, okay, mine first:

I know I'm a hopeless YA Book Addict, because
1. all of my favorite books I've recently discovered are YA books
2. every time I see a listopia with "Young Adult" in the headline, I click it just to see if I happen to know some of them, if not, ADD
3. every time one of my parents mentions that maybe, just maybe I should start reading some books they think are good, I'm mentally absent

and 4. I'm young at heart! ;)

Lindsay Paige (authorlindsaypaige) haha I totally agree with everything you said. Except for number 3. I'm always the one recommending except for my 22 year old friend, who is practically family.

Okay, so for me:
1. I rather read a YA romance than go find one of my own
2. I'm that person who ALWAYS carrys a book around, even to parties and weddings.
3. I'm always trying to find more YA books to read.
4. I spend more time thinking about books or reading them than I do anything else.
and last but not least 5. If I'm hanging with my friends and I'm in the middle of a good book, I will ignore what we are doing and what they are saying a crack the book open and read. (They hate when I do that!)

No. 3 and 4 - I to-tally agree!!

About my point No.3: The books my parents recommend are usually non-YA books.

Lindsay Paige (authorlindsaypaige) hahaha yeah. Same with my friend. But the ones she recommends are GOOD.

Rach (pagesofpiper) (piperbunny) 2. I'm that person who ALWAYS carrys a book around, even to parties and weddings.

I do that too! I've always got a book in my bag no matter where I'm going :)

1) I sometimes threaten to "get the book out".
2) I take out waaay more books than I can read from the library.
3) I make bets with people just to get them to read a book (okay, only done this twice - but it's how I got my sister to read Harry Potter!!)
4) My friends tease me and say "not another teen book."

Lindsay Paige (authorlindsaypaige) lol, I've done number 3 a time or two!

Jeremy Hung (jrhmy) Coming of age books are my favorite.
