one day sora was sitting in the mess hall all alone
Mark wandered into camp, looking around at the familiar sights.

Mark saw other kids from his cabin practicing archery, and he quickly grabbed his bow and arrow from his cabin. He jogged back over and started hammering arrow after arrow into the target.
Sikimi sighed listening to all the ruckus coming from camp. She had spent so many years here it didnt faze her anymore.
Mark looked over to the side at the girl practicing next to him. "Hey...I dont think I know you...you new here?" he asked, lowering his bow.

Mark smiled at her and walked over. "Nice to meet you...You know, your a pretty good shot," he said, glancing at her target. "You in my cabin, Apollo? Or is it Artemis?"

Sikimi headed back towards camp avoiding most of the campers, they still didnt care for her and the hermes cabin, where she was staying, couldnt wait to get rid of her.
"Athena, eh?" he said, raising his eyebrow, and whistling slightly. "That's pretty impressive then..." Mark chuckled. He turned to Tyler and gave him a questioning look. "What about you?"
"So I can see..." MArk chuckled. "Well, in that case, I hope he doesnt mind if I basically ignore him and speak only to you"
Sikimi sighed as she tried to pass by the Ares cabin and was given the usual death glares. She walked towards the archery feild to see if it was empty and saw some others there.
Mark nodded and laughed as he too gathered up his arrows. "Wanna go somewhere and hang out or something?"

Sikimi noticed Tyler and began trying to figure out whos child he was.
He shrugged and smirked when he realized he towered over her, at almost 5'8. "Up to you...dining hall, beach, woods, wherever"
"Woods sounds good" Mark nodded. He smiled and started walking, motioning for her to follow.

Finally she decided on Hestia or Ares cause of his eyes, but decided Hestia would fit better cause he seemed gentle and was playing with fire. She hadnt relized that she had walked down till she picked up a bow and fired an arrow at the target. It was a poor shot and hit the edge of the target. "Dang...."
"Oh, yeah, sorry about that!" he laughed. "Im Mark, son of Apollo, but I think I already told you that..." He stopped walking and waited for her to catch up before starting again.
She tried to ignore their convo while she practiced. Archery definately was not her strong point.

She jump startled and turned an arrow still notched in the bow.
Mark shrugged and smiled at her. "This'll be my 6th year here" he said, leading her to the rock formation everyone called Zeus' Fist. He sat down at the base and patted the ground next to him for her to sit.
"Its fine." she said shortly but softly. She turned back to the target and fired her arrow, it struck the edge again. "Damn......"
She pulled out another arrow and looked over her shoulder at him "Hestia?" she asked
"Really? Wow...Im sorry about that..." Mark said softly. "The only reason I stay here year round is cause the area my mom and step-dad live in is like, a hot bed of monsters and my dad thinks its best I stay here...Even if I can handle myself in a fight, he feels it'll be better if I stay in the camps protection" he shrugged.
She looked away from him and fired her arrow "Had....We're not sure...." she muttered
"Whats so funny?" she asked self consiuosly and walked out to retrieve her arrows.
"Yup" Mark nodded, smiling. "Oh, I just remembered..." he added, pulling the stilleto out of his jacket. He moved a small shrub in front of the rock and carved a tally mark into the rock, next to five other marks.
Mark grinned at her. "Ok, I know we're not supposed to desecrate Zeus' fist, but when I made the first mark I didnt know that!" he laughed. "Every mark stands for one year Ive been here..." he explained, showing them to her.
She nodded and thought He caught onto the Hades part...and of course he doesnt want to be seen talking to a child of Hades... she shot of a couple more arrows cursing the gods.
"Um...I dunno...Depends on how far you can shoot normally" he laughed. "If I did it, probably about 250 yards up before falling...It wouldnt go as far up as it would normally though...Why?"
Sikimi sighed and put her equipment away and headed back to the beach, she had thought of leaving camp plenty of times but really just couldnt think of anywhere to go.
Mark laughed and rolled his eyes. "Your such an Athena kid" he accused, grinning. "you need to find a better way to spend your time"
She looked out at the sea and wonder what would happen if she tried to swim. Posideon didnt like her father much, would he try to drowned her?
"Hmmm...I would love to help you, but you need to help me first by telling me how you want to spend said time"
MArk laughed. "Your so helpful" he said sarcastically, putting his arm around her shouldes as she sivered. "cold?"
As the sun got lower she watched the waves and wondered why her father didnt claim her.
Mark smiled and held her close, playing with her hair a little.
Mark smiled. "Hey..." he said softly. "I thought of a better way for you to spend your time..."
He grinned and tilted her head back so he could softly press his lips against hers.
She muttered cusses to herself and walked slowly towards camp and her cabin.
Mark smiled and pulled away after a minute or two. "So what do you think of my idea?"
