Wild Things: YA Grown-Up discussion

I just read Twelve Long Months by Brian Malloy. It's a story about a girl from Le Sueur, Minnesota who is in love with her lab partner. Molly moves across the country to go to school at Columbia, and Mark moves to New Jersey to work with his uncle. Molly eventually finds out that Mark is gay, and finds herself being a listening ear when she'd rather be a girlfriend. Molly grows a lot in her first year away from home, because of her friendships with her floormates, her changing relationship with Mark, her first boyfriend, and her independence from her family. It's a coming of age story and a love story with realistically flawed characters. It really kept my attention and once I started I had to see how it ended.
