Life

Alex and Angel had to walk the dog.

Maya was sitting behind the counter, her head resting on her hands, watching the people in the store, bored.

Danny was running through the park with his dog. His iPod was blasting music into his ears, and he wasn't really paying attention to anything around him.

Zoey was working, and was getting really bored.

Alex dropped his wallet and let go of the leash. The dog ran.
"Nice Alex!" she rolled her eyes and ran after it, but he was too fast. "LEO GET BACK HERE!"

Danny stopped to get a drink, and noticed a dog running towards him with a girl chasing after it. He pulled out his earphones and grabbed the dogs collar as it came over.

She stopped running and got Leo by the leash, "Oh my God, Thanks so much!" She said while breathing. "Bad Leo, bad, bad dog." She scolded the dog.

"Your welcome." Danny said, and smield.

Alex joined them soon after, "Hey, thanks man." He said and smirked down at the dog, patting its back as it wagged its tongue out.
Angel smiled back at him, "Ummm I'm Angel, this is my brother Alex. And our dog Leo."
Leo barked at Danny.

"I'm Danny, nice to meet you guys." Danny said, "Oh and this is my dog Pepper."

Angel flashed his dog a smiled, "He looks much more decent than Leo here."
Alex smirked, "Thats because I trained Leo remember?"
"Oh, you never let me forget." She rolled her eyes.
Leo was already in the middle of meeting pepper.

Danny felt his phone vibrate and took it out of his pocket. I'm at the park. he quickly sent back to his sister. And then returned his attention to Alex and Angel... well more so to Angel.

Zoey recieved his text and sighed.

Alex smirked, "I'm an expert at dog training. I trained our neighbor's dog too."
"The poor dog went crazy and died last month." She pointed out.
"Yeah, yeah." He rolled his eyes and bent over to the dogs.
"So, I haven't seen you around before, are you new?" She asked.

"Kinda. We, my sister and I, used to live on the opposite side of town. And just about a week or two ago we moved over here." Danny explained.

She nodded, "Oh, I see. So, you work or something?" She asked playing with the leash for her dog.

"Yeah. I'm a lifeguard, but I'm training to be a cop." Danny said.

She looked impressed, "Dang, really? That must be hard. well I work in a restaurant called Mario's. And then i go to college as well" she smiled

"What're you going to college for?" Danny asked.

"Umm, well history, but I take art and music as well." she said hoping she was making sense.

Alex got up, "What are we talking about?"

Danny had forgotten Alex was there, and looked at him for a moment before remembering who he was. "We're talking about work and school."

She smiled, "Nothing of YOUR interest Al. Go play with leo." She said handing him the leash, "While grown ups talk."

Alex towered over her "Watch it baby sis."

Danny smiled.

Alex rolled his eyes and left with the dog.

Ange smirked, "He's so annoying. He really needs someone to man him up."

"That how we guys are though... we always annoy girls." Danny smiled.

She laughed, "Gee, Danny. You don't seem like the guy to annoy. Plus I think its only for siblings.."

"I always annoy my sister." Danny laughed.

She laughed a bit, "You have a sister? Maybe she could help man him up. Because Alex has no girls in his life."

"Yeah, I think she's actually on her way here right now. She just got off of work." Danny said, "And why doesn't he have any girls in his life?"

"I mean apart from me. " she said, "and mom. Oh because he doesnt like anyone." she shrugged.

"So do you guys live around here?" Danny asked.

Zoey parked her car, and started to look for Danny.

"Yeah, around the block. House number 30." she said.

Alex spotted a hot girl.

"Really? We live on the same block." Danny smiled.

Zoey took out her phone to text Danny when she noticed Alex looking at her. She smiled slightly.

Jane walked in the park kicking a stone with each step she took, looking at her phone.

"Really? Don't lie!" She laughed, "Whoa."

Alex smiled a bit at her and continued playing with the dog.

Jane stopped walking and looked around. She didn't recognize anybody.

Alex looked around, holding Leo in his arms.

"I don't lie." Danny smiled.

Zoey blushed.

Angel smirked, "Everyone lies. Oh well." She said and glanced at Alex who was now smiling at the Zoey.

Alex couldn't take his eyes off her for a moment but then noticed that Angel was watching.

"Maybe sometimes." Danny smiled, and followed her gaze. "Oh, that's my sister." he smirked.

Zoey saw Danny but walked towards Alex instead.

"Oh really? I see she's already meeting Alex..." She grinned.

Alex watched her coming towards him but pretended not to notice.

Danny laughed softly.

Zoey stopped a couple feet away from him. "Hi." she said softly.

She smiled slightly and turned back to him, "Yeah, so..."

He looked up from Leo and his eyes gazed over her, whoa he thought and smiled at her, "Um hey."

"I'm Zoey." Zoey smiled, and extended her hands.

Danny turned his eyes back to Angel. "You doing anything later?" he asked casually.

He looked at her hand for a small moment and carried Leo in one arm, extending his own arms to reach with her hand, "Alex here, and this is Leo." He said glancing at the dog.

She bit her lip, "Umm, yeah actually. Me and Alex were just going to the vet."

"Is something wrong with Leo?" Danny asked, and knew he was blushing.

"Nice to meet you. And Leo's really cute." zoey smiled.

She smiled at his blush, "No, he just has an appointment. Just a check up." She said.

He winked and put Leo down, holding his leash, "Thanks, you're not all that bad either."

"Oh, well that's good." Danny said, and smiled sheepishly.

Zoey blushed.

She smiled back, "Yeah I guess so. But it shouldn't be too long."

He blushed as well, "Sorry.."

"S-So are you doing anything after the check-up?" Danny asked.

"It's alright." Zoey smiled.
