Are you opposed to the names Flamewhisper and Blizzardfrost? I did not see 'whisper' listed on the endings for 'blizzard' on the beginnings.

Flame, Blizzard, Whisper, and Frost are all acceptable warrior names. No one has time to go through every word and check for validity for a name. I think your cat names should be fine, i use some odd ones myself (Midnightmoon/star, Moonlitshadow)

I thought that they would be okay, but I had some one climb all over me once because Flamewhisper was not what they called a "normal warriors name." :P

We're not THAT picky here. :) But if you name a cat 'Saturnhail', then yes you will be asked to change it. lol we just don't want names so 'out there' that they don't fit at all.

That's good. There needs to be some type of normality. I think my favorite was Glitterpaw, I don't know what their warrior name became, but 'Glitter'paw always made me laugh.

Somebody made a Venuskit in ThunderClan, and Sam and I were going to talk to her about it since warriors don't know what 'Venus' is. And Seph, your names are bordering the line of weirdness... ;)

How about we limit names to what cats KNOW about?

they do know what midnight is, they know it's the same as moonigh.

If you REALLY think about it...you can break it up so midnight is half of the span of night, which is when the moon is directly overhead, also known as moonhigh. So if moonhigh is when midnight is, then they should know what it is because they know what 'mid' means, and what 'night' means. They are smart enough to piece it together.

And Seph, we've been trying to limit the names to what cats know the whole time! Great idea! :D

Broken yes, Ocean maybe. They call the ocean the big water, I don't remember them calling it the ocean. If you can find some place in a book where they called the big water the ocean, then yes. If not, then no.

They call the ocean/beach area the 'sun-drown place' so no, ocean is not used.
