Wildstar walked around camp.

Adderclaw walked beside her leader. "Any news?"

"None right now."he said.

She nodded. "Anything you want me to do now?"

"Organize the morning patrols." Wildstar replied.

"Alright."

Sunkit trotted out of the nursery.

Wildstar walked away.

Snakepaw looked up at his mentore. "Can we go on a patrol?"
"Yes, but we need more cats." Adderclaw said, searching the camp.

Sunkit wondered when his apprentice ceremony might be.

Wildstar called, "Let all those old enough to catch their own prey gather under the highrock for a clan meeting!"

Adderclaw looked up and padded towards Highrock. She smiled, knowing the pleasant surprse to come.

Violetheart pursed her lips and slwly walked towards Highrocks. ANother ceremony. Bo-o-ring!

Snakepaw looked up. He ran, excited.

Berrpaw followed her firend.

Wildstar motioned Sunkit to go up with him.

Sunkit's ears pricked and his legs locked, almost as if he forgot how to walk. He shook his head, and sat in front of the nursery, behind the crowd.

"This kit is now ready to be an apprentice. "he said."The mentor will be Adderclaw.By the power of Starclan, Sunkit, your apprentice name is sunpaw until you become a warrior."

Sunkit bounded fowards, excited. His heart was thumping so hard he thought it would burst out of his chest.

Wildstar jumped down from the Highrock.

Sunpaw touched noses with his new mentor and felt a quiet purr sound in his chest.

Wildstar went back into his den.

Skysong smiled at the new apprentice.

Silverpaw was out looking for catmint

Wildstar sighed and laid down.

Adderclaw looked up. "SKysong, can you lead a patrol?"

"Sure. Why not." Skysong yawned and went to gather some warriors

"ANd take Violetheart with you. ANd...." Adderclaw scanned the forest. "Why not Sunpaw."

"Sure. Let's go everyone!" Skysong padded out of camp.

Silverpaw padded into camp with her mouth full of cat mint

Sunpaw bounced up, "My first patrol! This is so exciting!" His eyes widened when he saw the lush greenery of the forest sprawled out around him. He was actually able to set paw on the soft forest floor without being scolded by Wildstar or Adderclaw.

Sparrowpaw yawned. She'd had to guard the camp last night. She was supposed to be sleeping, but no one said she couldn't do another shift while her mentor was... well elsewhere.

Sunpaw admired the scenery around him, trying to memorize the surroundings. He stretched his neck around so he peered back at camp.

Wildstar woke up and looked around how things were going in the camp.

Skysong grinned at Sunpaw. "Ready?"

Wildstar walked around.

shiningheart sat in the nursery

littleclaw smiled at her

leafpool was in the elders den looking around and turned over grunting because his paw was hurting and he hasnt slept for almost a moon

Adderclaw loooked around. Might as well mke myselff helpfull be going on a patrol

littleclaw walked over to adderclaw "were you goin?"

"I was thinking of making a hunting patrol. Wanna come?"

shiningheart yelped it was time! she thought "littleclaw! its time!"

littleclaw was in the nursery and gave her his paw

she dug her claws into his claw

littleclaw winced but didnt take his paw away

it was a girl named rainkit that looked just like her father and a male named littlekit ((he was a runt)) that looked just like his mother!

Sparrowpaw fell asleep at her post, utterly exhausted.

Silverpaw looked over at Sparrowpaw and nearly laughed. She padded over and prodded the apprentice awake. "You're blocking the entrance. Get to the apprentice's den."

Wildstar looked around.

Sparrowpaw woke up with a start. "Wah? What?"

Adderclaw padded up to them and raised an eye. "I see you were too tired. What if something bad had happened? Ask the medicine cat for something to make you sstay awake next time. Alright?"

Silverpaw laughed. "Nah, I don't think anything's used to stay awake except for mouse bile stench."

"If it works, then why not?"

"Because Sparrowpaw will walk around camp smelling like mouse bile. Do you really want that to happen?"

Adderclaw was smiling. "I was just joking. I may be a warrior, but that doesnt mean I cant joke around."
