Emily layed on the ground of the farm. The farmer was angry at her. He got out a wooden bat and struck her in the face, then he struck Skip. Skip yelped and ran.
"Skip!" said Emily, crying. She ran after her only friend and the farmer shouted, "stay away you witch!"

Reacent sighed

Emily caught Skip and they laid in the front of the mall, bloody, and weeping. Hungry too.

Reacent grabbed Emily and went outsode

Emily and Skip were dirty, bloody, sad, homeless, in tatters, and starving. Her and that dog lived a miserable life.

Reacent ran over, "omygod!!!"

Both of their breathes were ragged, they needed help.

He gave Amelia his cell phone and she called 911

"You gotta help me!" she screamed, "I have nowhere to go!"

He picked her up. "calm down, well help you..."

The dog growled weakly at him, but it was to weak to do anything else.

Reacent pulled two pieces of beef jerky out of his bag and gave one to the girl and one to the dog

The girl nibbled it and the dog licked it up.

Reacent helped her stand and Amelia soothed the dog

Elizabeth said, "We have nowhere to go!"

He shook his head and picked her up and carries her to the truck

He set her in the back of the truck with Amelia and got in the driver aeat

Reacent drove home, set the girl and her dog on the couch. Then made them a plate of food

He gave her the food

She and her dog gobbled it down in 2 minutes flat.

Reacent smiled

"Thanks." she smiled, Skip barked and let Emily pet him.

Reacent sat by them, "What happened to you?" he asked

"Farmer...discoverd me eating...chicken...he hit us with a bat and a metal rod."
She had a broken nose. A piece of flesh was off her cheek.

" here " he broke her nose back in place and put a big bandage on her face " better z'

Reacent pulled her into his lap and held the bandage to her face, "It will be okay...We'll work something out..."

Reacent looked at hime, "Can she stay in one?" he asked

Elizabeth smiled and Skip barked, he had bandages all over him and but he wagged his tail.

Elizabeth stiffly got up and followed Kevin. Skip followed.
