The sequel comes out in December, what do you think will happen?

Lani (crahfty) I think Jude will come back in a big way. I hope he and Grace will learn about their whole transformation together. I hope we get a little more detail about what Daniel was doing before he returned and maybe meet some of the characters he stayed with.

Marija (helengraham) | 16 comments I would also like the sequel to at least be partially from Jude's pov. But as the book's titled The Lost Saint, I have a feeling that most of the story's going to be centered around one of the Saint Moons... the lost saint perhaps being Gabriel or someone new character.

But I think having the lost saint be Jude would work as well. In a figurative sense, Jude is a lost saint of sorts, no longer recognizing himself as he becomes more consumed by those negative base emotions... anger, fear and disgust.

Deborah Question? Is Grace to now essentially an immortal like Gabriel unless someone kills her? Daniel, no longer being a werewolf, will age, or the fact he was born half-blood, even being cured, not age. How will the relationship progress?

Marija (helengraham) | 16 comments Yes, I know exactly what you mean. These questions aren't really answered in TDD and I do hope they'll be answered in the sequel. It's another reason why I think this book would have been better suited to not be a paranormal romance. Despain, however, isn't the only ya author that doesn't seem to consider the consequences of engaging in a relationship with an immortal. Consider LJ Smith and some of the relationships in her Night World series: Rashel and Quinn, Lord Thierry and Hannah—you can even add Stefan, Damon, and Elena from her VD series into the mix as well. These relationships are only focused on the present and never really consider what may happen to the characters in the future with aging and the like. When you think about it, it's kind of creepy. :)

Not really interested in the next book...but I suppose Grace will be a werewolf that saves people and becomes the hero she wants to be. We will also see what happens to Jude. Now that he and Grace are the same maybe they will be better friends and not enemies?

I hope that Grace will become more interesting if we have to be inside her head again.

I also hope that the wolf won't be portrayed as bad as it was in Dark Divine.

I'd like Jude to come back changed for good.

I'd like Daniel to be werewolf again, being human is so overrated. =) I'd also like to have a crush on him in the book because it just didn't happen for me in this one.

I'd like baby James to learn a new bad word. hehe.
