same. i thought it was amazing, and i don't really understand why it was considered adult besides that the characters are adults. it was amazing still.
Yeah, I don't really get the whole "adult" thing either...There wasnt any graphic content or anything in it...Oh well..
It was still good. I wish that there was a sequel!

Well, maybe about the other group of people they found. I dont know, it ended well enough that there doesnt have to be a sequel, I just want to see how everything plays out.
i havent read it, but i read the summary, and it sounds like the Animorphs series!
I actually was really worried about The Host, as it was out of her normal genre, but I thought she did a pretty good job. It didn't queit grab my attention as the Twilight Series. But I thought she wrote it well. Especially since it was totally different for her. I hope there's a second one!
It was a romance though. A romance between Melaine and her lover. A a romance between Wanda and her lover but also Wanda and Melaines lover. It was one giant love story with yet another twist.
I really enjoyed this book. I guess I am one of the few people here who thought that it was actually better than Twilight. While I love Twilight a whole lot, I thought her writing was improved her and her characters felt a tiny bit more real to me. I still noticed a few similarities in how she has relationships set up between The Host and Twilight, but nothing worth complaining about. I feel the book was a big step forward.
