Author Stephenie Meyer has not yet released specific details on the storyline of the novel, but she has stated that it will be the last of the series to be written from Bella's perspective. An excerpt from Breaking Dawn was released on May 31, 2008, in the special edition release of Eclipse. This excerpt was later revealed to be entitled "Engaged" in a recent internet leak. Meyer recently announced (while touring in Germany) that this book in the series was inspired by A Midsummer Night's Dream and another novel that she has not yet revealed.

I have not read A Midsummer Night's Dream, but apparently the characters die in the end! :O!

Does anyone know if the main characters die in that book for sure? Thats just what someone told me...so I dont know if its true..but OMGGG!

although, if they died it would solve the issue of edward thinking that they dont have souls as vampires.

I dont think that Stephenie will end up killing Ed and Bella cuz in her twilight page on her website she says that she only reason that she kept going on publishing her book (twilight) (and she says that it was really tiring to have publishers and editors screaming at her all day) was because she loved her two main characters so much. (she had a dream about Edward and Bella...)
