I just found out that Starz has picked up the new series of Torchwood!

Yeah! More of tha wonderful Captain Jack! I am so happy! It will be hitting our screens summer 2011!

After Children of the Earth I was afraid there wouldn't be anymore episodes.So excited I love Torchwood especially Capt Jack.

I'm a huge Torchwood fan too! Jack and Gwen are coming back for sure. I hope they find a way to bring back Ianto. It just won't be the same without him

I agree. I'm glad they decided to bring it back. The British shows are so refreshing and different from American shows. I hate that BBC cancelled Hex too. It didn't even try for a conciliation.

I'm glad it's coming back, and still the British version, and not the americanized bastardization that was getting shopped around. Love me some Captain Jack. *swoon!*

I'm sorta excited now that they've announced it as a partnership deal with BBC and it being cable instead of network television!

I'mjust glad they are making a season4. Torchwood is much better than Dr Who in my opinion!

I can't agree that torchwood is better than Dr. who. I can agree that I'm thrilled that they're making more. What makes me happy is that it's the British team that's making it and not an American team. That would change the flavor and pace of the show. I can't imaging that they'll be able to bring Ianto into it. They've been pretty hard core so far about that.

I'm so excited about this new series of Torchwood and thanks for letting us know. I found the final of the last series absolutely heart wrenching. I agree that it would be great if Ianto could be found and come back. Yay!!!

I think it just depends. I like torchwood better than dr who because, especially children of earth, it was more grown up sci fi, something that British tv isn't as strong as.

I hope captain john comes back into it. I loved James masters in it.

Children of earth was amazing and heartbreaking all at the same time. Yeah, it was pretty amazing television. I love James Marsters. He was great in the role. I hope he comes back too. I guess he loved working on it, so I can't imagine he won't be back.

It took me awhile to finally sit down and watch this series but I am so glad that I did. I watched the first three series in three day Netflix marathon. Now I cant wait for the Fourth season.

I love love love Torchwood. Capt. Jack is the best. Will Gwen have her child with her in the series? How much time do you think has elapsed since they last saw each other. I miss Owen and Toshiko.

I liked Torchwood seasons 1 & 2 and loved Children of Earth. As an old Buffy fan, I'm expecially excited that Jane Espenson is on the new writing staff.

I found Torchwood on Netflix recently. I loved Doctor Who, so I think I'll be taking a chance on this series! I love the Captain Jack character in the Doctor Who series.
