lol.....um REALLY?! Im sure this film/book is probably good but the explanation sounds crazy! A book about owls....hmmmm.....interesting!

yeah steph they do a good job of making the owls look real.....but owls? Of all the movies about animals that I've seen made owls just dont seem to fit

Looks like Lord of the Rings with Owls fromo the promos. I'm a little scared seeing as it's the same studio who did Happy Feet (I wasn't too happy with that movie). PLus, I believe I heard some familiar voices in the promo.
Soren, a young barn owl, is kidnapped by owls of St. Aggie's, ostensibly an orphanage, where owlets are brainwashed into becoming soldiers. He and his new friends escape to the island of Ga'Hoole, to assist its noble, wise owls who fight the army being created by the wicked rulers of St. Aggie's. The film is based on the first three books in the series.
