At a guess, it's BookTour striking again. GR has a partnership with an authors' book tour company which sends information to GR about tours, but occasionally the automation goes wonky and the BookTour bios which accompany the tour information wind up on the wrong author profile. There's nothing in the logs to show this, unfortunately, but you can often spot them because for some reason they always have a dangling double quote on the end of the bio when they go wonky. If you have better information for Elaine Cunningham, please do update the author's profile!
After reading what I could find, it appears that she doesn't want much information available about herself, so I just deleted the incorrect bio. Thank you!
LOL, and in 5 hours time, it has been filled with a bio about: David J. CorwellI see the double quote mark at the end, so sounds like BookTour strikes again!
I've removed it.
I think a blank profile invites BookTour to strike. Is there ANYTHING that could work for a brief bio for her?
Looks like Wikipedia has a brief paragraph or two:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elaine_C...
I don't usually edit author info-- is it okay to use info from Wikipedia as long as we reference the source?
It's always ok to use info from Wikipedia as long as we reference it as the source.I usually end a section I've gotten from Wikipedia like this:--from Wikipedia
Thanks for correcting the bio. If you like, I'd be happy to send you something more up to date. A few additional corrections to the book list. Reclamation was never published. The cover for Winter Witch is available at the publisher's website, Paizo.com. The following books were written by a different Elaine Cunningham, and should not appear on this page: Under the Lucky Bean Tree; Boxes, Bridges & Bread Crumbs; Mystery of the Missing Ring; and Haldor Lilleanas.
Thanks again. :)

Hi Elaine!
I separated out those four books, imported the cover, and made a note on the unpublished book. (Deleting it would be futile, since it's still listed on Amazon and would just re-import.)
If you are interested in joining the Goodreads Author Program, just click this link to get to the "I am this author" page. (Requests are reviewed and approved every couple days.)
