Book #1 in the OF WAR Series of romantic/erotic paranormal thrillers. If you like Greek Mythology this series is for you. Come along for a journey of action, lust, love, rage, and redemption with Ares God of War and Magdalena MacLeod a 1/2 human 1/2 fey woman. Read the reviews here on GoodReads, on Amazon.com and others. Each story in this series is just $0.99 through KINDLE until 12/25. Fall in love with Ares and Alena, they're guaranteed to keep the cold winter months steamy. :)
As a special holiday gift you can get "Christmas Eve on Olympus" a holiday-themed short story FREE just go to http://www.moonsmusings.com/lbdarling... and download at will until 12/25/2011. Fans of this series will enjoy the fluffy/romantic/steamy little enhancement to the series. Those who haven't read the series will (hopefully) get a nice little glimpse between Ares, Alena, and Raven. This story is NOT typical of the entire series which contains several scenes of graphic sex and violence.

My first thought when Fae are mentioned is Meredith Gentry.
YAY! I see that no one has listed the Bedlam Bard series. I am the first to list it WOOT! Bedlam's Bard
Mad Maudlin
Bedlam's Edge
Beyond World's End
Spirits White as Lightning
Summoned to Tourney
Music to My Sorrow
I really love this list, it has given me many wonderful stories to try. Love far stories, the should be more of them.
Me too! I've read Wicked Lovely (just bought the last 2 books) and Fever...I'm new to the fae world, and loving it.
Noticed that Anya Bast's books weren't up. Looks like I'm going to have to go through and add some to my TBR pile.
I ended my 2012 reading list with a fae-related series.Julie Kagawa's Iron Fey Series
Julie Kagawa'sIron Fey Call of the Forgotten

Would it be possible for those who post books to read to indicate if they are romance novels or serious adult fiction. A little lovey dovey is okay but not the majority of the book.If anyone has any suggestions for some serious reading I would appreciate it!

Monica, for serious adult fiction in urban fantasy realm, with fae, the first on the list qualify (no angst about relationships, little or no sex), but I hope you will take a look at the rest of the list (non-fae but really well written fantasy with a gamut of supernaturals)
Fae (at least some fae)- you may already have read- I won't even mention Jim Butcher-
book:Dead Witch Walking|30264]
Unshapely Things
Shadows in the Darkness
Dragon Precinct but not really urban
This Case Is Gonna Kill Me
Moon Called
Sixty-One Nails
Touch the Dark
The Sweet Scent of Blood
Non Fae The Rook wonderful, and some authors that are really good
vamps: Kim Newman, Charlie Huston, Nancy Collins (early books- Sunglasses After Dark), Nancy Baker, Tanya Huff (Blood series and Smoke series), Mario Acevedo, Adrienne Barbeau (!), Jeanniene Frost (some romance but lots of action too),JF Lewis
weres: Ilona Andrews, Carrie Vaughn, Caitlyn Kittredge, Kelley Armstrong, Faith Hunter
witches or demons: Diana Rowland, Jenna Black, Lilith Saintcrow (Working for the Devil), Richard Kadrey, Harry Connolly, Michael Carey, T A Pratt (Blood Engines)
Ha! I can do this!!Sister to the Fae
Yes, a shameless, shameless plug, but it's the start of a Fae series soo...
Sister to the Fae
An equally shameless plug from me! Shadowbound is an urban fantasy novel about the Fae, the first in the The Will-o'-the-Wisp Trilogy
by Elle Casey. YA, little romance, lots of swearing. This is the first of the War of the Fae quartet.
is the first of the Clash of the Otherworld trilogy which follows on from the War of the Fae books :)
Angela W. wrote: "I am looking for some books about the erotic Fae"

-WINGS by Aprilynne Pike
(If you like shimmering fairies with wings and Avalon myths!)
-TRYLLE trilogy by Amanda Hocking
(They are Trolls, but not like this old image of them, rather like Fae.I really liked the first book)
-Books of Faerie- Lament, Ballad by Maggie Stiefvater
(Rather normal paranormal books with lot kinds of fae etc. First written book from M.Stiefvater)
-Alex Craft by Kalayna Price
(If you like mysteries, Urban fantasy with enjoyable maine heroine and interesting world in near future, go for it!)
-THRONE OF GLASS by Sarah J Maas
(I do not want spoiler anything, but there are Fae. Especially in Heir of Fire. I really Recommend this one!)
-Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr
(I did not liked it much.I read just the first one and it was kind of dull read.)
-FEVER series by Karen Marie Moning
(Urban fantasy with really interesting and dark Unseelie and Seelie fae!Recommend it!)
