Who do you think Merit should end up with? Should she give Morgan a chance or just give into her feelings for Ethan? Do you think she can trust either one of them?

ethan all the way! i just love ethan. i like morgan but not as much as ethan. i think that ethan has had feelings for merit since he first saw her and i dont think he just wants her just to have sex wit her which that is kind of how it seems in the books, but i think in his own way he respects her and values he opinion. and i feel like he wants to get to knoe her more.

i think making her sentieal was not only for her protect the house b/c of her gifts, but also b/c he wants to force her to spend time wit him a bit and as sentiel she has to.

As for morgan i loved him at the beginning. i found what people disliked about the book was ethan only wanted merit for her body and morgan forced her to be wit her b/c he annoced in front of everyone to court her and she didnt have a choice. but thats what vampires r like so i didnt see a problem wit it. i loved that. and i dont really find ethan cold. i found morgan wonderful. i thought her was an ass for when finding out merit was from cadogan was mean. i mean come on. but i loved all his other scenes wit her later. i was kind of mad at morgan book 2 b/c he was acting like a child. he knoes that merit is sentieal of cadogen and ethan is her liege. i felt like he was acting like a jealous child but i do think that it is somewhat understandable. ethan is just so hot who could resist him.

i think merit is not ready to open herself up to people. i think he should just give her time.

but i really do wonder wht will happen in twice bitten. i hope we see more of morgan.

I'm all for Ethan, from the beginning, Merit has had a bond with Ethan, but they are both stubborn and independent. Merit isn't the type of girl to just give in to Ethan and do whatever he wants, she challenges him, and they help each other to grow.
As for Morgan, he seems like a fun diversion, but his loyalties lie elsewhere. A real relationship with Morgan would complicate life for the 2 vampire houses, and it isn't the smartest move politically.

i love that she wont give in to ethan. i think that they both make each other a better person.

I do want Ethan and Merit to end up together, but I do feel sorry for Morgan. Merit never really gave him a chance and he is super sweet.

I agree with you ladies and I am Ethan all the way! I do feel bad for Morgan though because the poor boy never really had a chance with Merit!

I always felt that Morgan would be OK for her if something happened to Ethan, but that is no longer the case. (Reading Spirit Bound has made me realize I can't kid myself that way any more! LOL!) I was actually thinking the love triangle would move away from Ethan/Merit/Morgan to a rogue or a shifter/Merit/Ethan.

I am sure there is more to Morgan then we are seeing but he just doesn't seem to fit with Merit.. I am such a die hard Ethan and Merit fan...

As for trusting either of them, I think she is beginning to slowly trust Ethan.. For them to have a lasting relationship trust is going to have to factor in for both of them..

yea. i think he is slowly letting him in and opening up to him a bit more.

I am so with you on that after reading Spirit Bound. As much as I love Adrian, Rose just belongs with Dimitri. I know poor Adrian is going to get hurt which makes me sad though. It is exactly the same situation with Morgan. Maybe if Ethan didn't exist but as long as he does he is the only one for Merit. She doesn't want to give into Ethan but it is obvious that he is the one she wants! I hope they both stop being so stubborn in Twice Bitten!

omg. i knoe. i loved dimitri from the first moment and then adrian came along, and god. i love him. i think VA was the first series i was so conflicted wit the guys but i do want rose and dimitri to be together b/ they belong wit each other and has been through so much.

i just hope adrian gets his happy ending.

i also hope that she will stop being stubborn in twice bitten. i was see some HOT ethan and merit moments.

I loved Spirit Bound.. Not sure if I can wait for Dec. for the next one to come out.. Dimitri and Rose do seem to be made for each other.. I feel for Adrian because he does love Rose too..

I highly doubt that Merit is going to stop being stubborn, its part of who she is.. Although I am sure we will get some hot and possibly very hot Ethan and Merit moments if chapter 8 is them... For them to have a relationship they both need to give a bit..

Meredith - I am so happy you understood my statement! I read it back after the fact and thought it was a little too vague. For me, it can only be Dimitri, no other will do and it can only be Ethan.

It's so much easier when the 3rd guy in the love triangle is totally annoying (IMO Jacob) but when you actually like the other guys, Adrian & Morgan, ugh!

I want the tension to continue between E&M - it is really good, as long as it is frequent tension, kwim? There has got to be a way for them to *ahem* but then be fighting at other times, right?

I think Adrian got his happy ending, but now maybe he needs his HEA (sorry couldn't resist)

I see Luc as destined for Lindsey - she is just holding out on him. I think Merit and Luc along the lines of brother/sister.

i really want to see some more between lindsey and luc! i love them!

I agree with you guys about Luc and Lindsey. I love that she gives him crap and for the most part he just takes it.

LOL, Kc! Yeah, we know what you mean. ;) I think I'm of the minority who doesn't care for Morgan. I didn't care for his divided loyalties and the way he forced Merit into a relationship, but I also think her attempts with Morgan helped her to see just how far gone she is for Ethan (although it wasn't cool that he gave her away like that.) It's true she didn't really give Morgan a chance, but I don't really pity him for that. He's a big boy. I can't wait for the next book!

I don't think Ethan or Merit are ever going to stop being stubborn... Its one of the things that adds to their tension.. I think even once they finally get together its still going to be there because of their positions.. Merit isn't going to want their personal relationship to interfer with the work one...

I know what you girls mean about Ethan and Merit... I just want them to stop being stubborn for at least a minute so they can "ahem" and then fight again! ha ha. I think their fighting and banter is part of what makes them such a great couple! I love it how Ethan and Merit's eyes silver at times when they look at each other!!! !

I LOVE Ethan but he can be a real ass sometimes. Morgan is great too, sweet and more at ease compared to Ethan but he is just too good i think. Merit needs someone she can argue with and who will get her blood pumping fast. And Ethan fits that bill.

BTW I think Tate is absolutely amazing. I love that mystery about him and cannot wait too read more on him. no offense to Ethan but i would like a hot scene between Tate and Merit. Maybe abit of flirting. Merit did say she didn't do Fang.

yea. b/c i was reading it i was like who the hell is tate, and i was like maybe she got the group switched talking about both NH and CLV.

Tate is the mayor, guys! Sarah, you and I are the only ones who like him, much less remember his name, LOL! I want to see more of him too. I'm really curious about his relationship with the vampires. I think Tate would agree about her policy on vampires. It might be cool to see Tate show an interest in Merit. :D

I don't think that they should be in a relationship either, coz that's not the story. He's just hot so i wanna read some hot scenes about him (though i doubt that will happen). I also wanna know more about what his agenda might be as Chloe makes it hard for us to decide whether he's a friend or foe. A lot of the vampires fate lies in his hands so I'm sure Chloe has big plans for him as a character.

Ethan of course!! I like Morgan but Ethan and Merit have a deeper connection and are meant to end together if they don't kill each other first ;)

I'm definitely TEAM ETHAN! Sure most of us like Morgan but the chemistry between Merit and Ethan is magic and undeniable! She didn't have that with Morgan. Gotta go with the Alpha male on this one!

I feel like Morgan was only in the book for a page! I wonder where his character is going now? Do you think he will be phased out or make an appearance again? I think we will be seeing more of Jonah in the next book!

Yeah, I think we will definitely be seeing more of Jonah. I'm just wondering where. Another incident requiring the Red Guard's support or will they have to step in for another reason? I bet Celina will make an appearance!

im interested in more of jonah. he was in there very little but i loved the little time he was in there. i hope we get more of him in hard bitten.

haha. finally meeting her in Twice Bitten. I'm like what did Ethan see in her. Knowing about her in Friday Night Bites I thought she would be a bit different or that I mite like her, but nope, hate her.

Ethan all the way. Even though he broke my heart I forgive him :) I dont know why but I dont trust Morgan. First because of the club scene where he didnt stand up for Merit then for giving celina another Navarre medal

I am fine with Ethan and Merit as a couple, but I like Morgan as a character (and as man candy) better than Ethan. Too bad it's only from Merit's perspective because I think Morgan could be very entertaining. I just don't want Ethan to play all of the games like in Book 3, causing unnecessary suffering. I felt really bad for Merit after he broke up with her. But then I felt bad for Morgan for how Merit kept treating him.

And I'm in the Lacey sucks bandwagon.
