Wicked Villains of Absolute Evilness!
Philip Tempest from A Long Fatal Love Chase. He's the very image of Mephistopheles, dark and brooding, evil without a conscious. He kills and plots without regret, all for the love of his life. But he's not sappy and romantic. No. He's cunning and (swoon) evilly delectable. Either him, or Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights, because he's insane. Insane and utterly, flawlessly wonderful. Amazing evil person.
Dr. Benway from various William S. Burroughs works, at least until I can think of an other bad dude in literature.Because he pretty much represents the absolute worst in people. I mean, when you are first introduced to him in Naked Lunch, he says how he likes to take guys in for 'testing', and then confines them to a small concrete room where he proceeds to rape and then violently murder them. That's pretty freaking evil.
And worst of all, he can be quite the charming dude.
My automatic response, being the Harry Potter nerd that I am, is Voldemort. He is the ultimate villain because he has an entire country (and then some) afraid to even utter his name ten years after he has disappeared. He has all the "fatal flaw" stuff going on as well. Not to mention the fact that he laughed in the face of the one thing that could possibly save him: remorse.
i would have to agree old Voldymort is DEFINATLY the badest villain
he's pretty bad but he didn't destroy inoccent people just because he liked to torture them
haha i guess i have to agree with you on that
I do love Hades :D lol but not really as a villain I just love him cuz he's a bit like a wannabe villain
I think Cruella De Vil from 101 dalmations is pretty awesome. I mean she skins puppys for their coats. You have to be pretty mean to do that.
sorry but voldemort still takes the cake
It would totally be Victor Dashkov from Vampire Academy, and the continuing of the series. He's just plain horrible.
Ohh that IS a good one...I like Rhett from Gone With The Wind but I don't think you could count him as a villain but I kinda do :P
While Voldemort is the more serious villain, Bellatrix is much cooler. That woman is totally awesome. :D
oh i know!
edward from twilight! oh wait....darn he's not a villian....nevermind
edward from twilight! oh wait....darn he's not a villian....nevermind
Hmm. I'd have to say that President Snow from the Hunger Games is pretty high on my list. Voldemort is probably the worst, though.
Cruela DeVille.... anyone who skins poor puppies **shutters** and other then that.... Snow.... oh or the guy that runs the train in the miraculous journey of edward tulane...

I find it funny that you remembered her first name and not her last, Rae... I think they mention her first name all of once and she as referred to as Coin for the rest of the book. :D
President Snow (the hunger games), Bellatrix (harry potter), Leck (Graceling), Valentine (The mortal instruments), and *I am the Circle and the Circle is me* President/Mayor Prentiss (chaos walking)!
