Barnes & Noble Nook discussion

I've been reading this absolutely fantastic and fun new series called Powerless. The characters are fascinating, the twists and turns in the plot are intriguing, and I just can't put the thing down. Now that I'm on to the second book, it's really reminding me of The Hunger Games!

The story's about a girl who finds out she's in a world where everyone has super powers, except herself. She's got to try to fit in with a bunch of other kids. I HIGHLY recommend it!

I loved The Synthesis! It is a captivating coming of age story that had me hooked from the first page. I can't wait for the second book!

I am a bit slow, which edition do I buy for the Nook? This sounds like a fun read.

I had a fabulous time with this book. The characters just go through so much emotional growth. It's definitely worth checking out!

I just updated the link to this thread with the proper Barnes and Noble address. The second book of this series is out too, it's called The Shadowing. If you've just finished The Hunger Games, this is perfect to read after! Still less violent, but so exciting!

I just downloaded this book to. Sounds great! I loved the Hunger Games series.

Yay! I'm glad people are giving it a shot. It's definitely a little tamer than Hunger Games, especially to start. Honestly, I don't even know how they can call Hunger Games young adult, you know? But this series starts off more like Harry Potter starts off.
