Kathryn (kathrynh) Well goodness, I don't really have a list, just make requests from the library and when they arrive I pick them up. Here is what I picked up last week and I will read them:

The Awakening by Kate Chopin
Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
A Whole Nother Story by Cuthbert Soup
The Girl Who Fell From the Sky by Heidi W. Durrow
The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom
Table Manners by Mia King currently reading
The Postmistress by Sarah Blake currently listening to

What are you thinking of The Postmistress? I read an ARC with Barnes and Noble's first look and didn't think it was that great, but a lot of people are liking this book. I'm wondering if they cleaned it up a bit after I read it.

Kathryn (kathrynh) It's fairly good...I'd give it a 3.5 and I am on the disc 4. I wanted it to be much more about the Postmistress and she is only about a third of the storyline if that. It has made me think about how when horrible things are going on in the world, life is still going on everywhere else just as it always does each day. Just like the Disney lyrics are "we all live underneath one big sky". I'm glad I am listening and not reading it....

LemonLinda (lwilliamson0423) Kathryn, I have this one (The Postmistress) on my Kindle, but I have heard so many mixed reviews that I have put it off indefinitely. I will be eager to hear what you have to say about it.

I agree, I wanted it to be more about the Postmistress. I thought it was going to be more like The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society than it actually turned out to be.
