you can delete this first post once you get started...

Nadia A (bagambo) Thanks, Wallace! I need to compile a list - I just have one running in my head. LOL!

Oh no worries. I just put this folder up so you could have your own list. You could take the list you started in my summer TBR folder and move it here if you want.

Nadia A (bagambo) The Hunger Games
Catching Fire
Mockingjay
The Passage
Gourmet Rhapsody

Oh really, wow! Is it scary? I know it has to do with vampires and all (which is fine) but is it scary like wimps couldn't read it at night type of scary?

message 10: by Nadia (new)

Nadia A (bagambo) No, it is definitely not scary. I think you'll be able to handle it. Its just really interesting and the writing just sucks you in.

Oh good!

message 12: by Nadia (new)

Nadia A (bagambo) Okay, so I looked at my list and I have yet to read anything else on it. UGH! I just finished a wonderful short story that I read online for FREE! Its called Mr. Penumbra's Twenty-Four-Hour Book Store by Robin Sloan. It was such a great read! Definitely a good fit for a summer read. But now I need to start a good solid book, hmmm...which one?

I agree with Zoe, Hunger Games! :)

message 15: by Nadia (new)

Nadia A (bagambo) Sounds like a good suggestion for the summer and it is sitting on my nightstand. Hmmm.

message 16: by Nadia (new)

Nadia A (bagambo) Crikey, I've been rather lazy with this list. I think its because I tend to change my mind at the drop of a hat when it comes to TBR lists. Hmmm. Well, here is my new list as of today.

ROOM
Dracula
The Paris Wife
How to read the Air

I finally read The Hunger Games series and truly enjoyed it, except for the ending - What the frack?!

message 17: by Zoe (new)

Zoe | 113 comments Oooh, I LOVED Dracula! I did my term paper on Bram Stoker in 12th grade :)

message 18: by Nadia (new)

Nadia A (bagambo) Zoe, that's cool! I'm actually at the beginning of the book and so far I'm really enjoying it. Can't wait to find out what else happens. So far its Mina wondering about Jonathan and why he hasn't written to her lately. Hmmm. I wonder why - poor Jonathan.

message 19: by Nadia (new)

Nadia A (bagambo) Still reading Dracula and loving it! For some reason I find myself taking this one rather slowly - I think I want to savor it, because I've become so engrossed in it. I'm thinking I'll read ROOM next.

message 20: by Nadia (new)

Nadia A (bagambo) I finished reading The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and have the next book in the series ready to go, but truthfully I'm not sure if I want to read it already. The first book was okay, but I'm not sure why its so popular - it was just another suspense thriller to me. And after reading it, all I could think about was sandwiches - why did we always have to know what type of sandwiches they ate. Hmmm.

Anyhow, now I'm reading King's new book and enjoying it! Good stuff!

Zoe | 113 comments Try 'The Girl Who Played With Fire'. I liked it waaaaay more than TGwtDT. I just saw the movie of TGwPwF (swedish version) and it was AWESOME! I swear, Lisbeth in the movie is exactly how I pictured her when I was reading the trilogy!

message 22: by Nadia (new)

Nadia A (bagambo) Thanks, Zoe. I think I will try it.
