I am almost done with The Intimate Lives of the Founding Fathers by Thos. Fleming and am enjoying it.
I just finished Christopher Hitchens' Thomas Jefferson: Author of America. After reading several TJ bio's I thought it might bore me to read another one. However, with Hitchen's style and vocabulary it doesn't really matter. It all sounds new again. Here is TJ, warts and all with no apologies.
I'm currently reading The American Revolution by Robert Allison. It's short in pages but has tiny text! So far it's decent and has had a few interesting things that I didn't know.

This book is definitely on my list. Wood is sometimes difficult to read, but always makes you think.
