Okay, so there is a difference between Watership Down and Tales From Watership Down... which one is supposed to be on the list? I didn't think that Tales From Watership Down was as popular/necessary to read as Watership Down?

I have never read tales from watership down... but essentially Watership Down is famous not only because the author is a good writer, but because it is a metaphor for socialism. All of the other group they encounter are examples of some other form of goverment... that is what puts watership down over the top into a top 100 book. But Tales from Watership Down sounds great.
