Caitlín K (inkmage) | 9 comments Some of my favorites so far are:

A Curse Dark as Gold by Elizabeth C. Bunce
Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow by Jessica Day George
Guinevere's Gift by Nancy Mckenzie
The Swan Kingdom by Zöe Marriott
The Sky Inside by Clare B. Dunkle
Newes from the Dead by Mary Hooper

I still want to read:

Cheated by Patrick Jones
Walk of the Spirits by Richie Tankersley Cusick
Sovay by Celia Rees
Two Girls of Gettysburg by Lisa Klein
Damosel: In Which the Lady of the Lake Renders a Frank and Often Startling Account of Her Wondrous Life and Times by Stephanie Spinner

But How to Ditch Your Fairy is supposed to be pretty good, too.

Megan | 7 comments Hands down my favorite was The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau Banks by E. Lockhart.

There's a lot I'm looking forward to, but Paper Towns by John Green probably tops the list.

Maya (numerounochewylover) | 8 comments I'm not sure what my favorite book of '08 was, but I'm definitely looking forward to Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer!!!!!!!

Marlene | 1 comments I really loved THE ADORATION OF JENNA FOX by Mary Pearson.

Sandi (sandikal) "Little Brother" by Cory Doctorow was the most amazing novel of any kind that I've read. It was incredible. I would rank it right up with "To Kill a Mockingbird" as one of the most powerful books I've ever read. (I have read a lot of books.)

Even better, it's got very, very strong boy appeal. I have a middle-school son and it is almost impossible to find books that appeal to him.
