I think Harry and Ginny are great together too, i think she's the only one strong enough to take everything
That's true ... she's independent, she's not clingy. Though she had a crush on Harry when she was young, she never made a fool of heerself in front of him (the way others did). And she never treated
Harry like a celebrity, rather just a friend.
And she's a great Quidditch player... I like atheletic women, they're strong.
I really like Ginny's personality, but as a character, I don't find her the most interesting to read about.
I like Ginny and I think she's genuine and real unlike a lot of the girls that Harry falls for (in my opinion) or the girls who fall for Harry.
And she doesn't hold Harry back as any girlfriend would do, instead she understands his necessity to go on his quest and heps him for it. She is so strong and wise. I love Ginny.
The HBP movie could have developed the Harry/Ginny relationship better - even a longer kiss would have been fine, without the stupid shoelace scene. I'm not much of a shipper, and this isn't one of my favorite aspects of the story, so this didn't bother me as much as others, though. I think Bonnie Wright's okay as Ginny. I've heard people say that she's too plain, but I don't really think so.

He'll play Gellert Grindelwald in DH. I thought Bonnie Wright denied the rumors about her engagement at the Wizarding World's opening.
In HBP I didn't like how Ginny hid the book 'cuz Harry was supposed to remember that he hid it by a crown! That's how he finds the diadenem(i know i spelled it wrong)
She doesn't just throw the book - she hides it. She could have easily seen the diadem, so she can tell Harry that she saw it without any major problems for the film.
I think they did a suprisingly good job in the movies, compared to how much other books get twisted by the big screen...though they didn't do the best job with Ginny I agree...
Al least the movies are recognizable, which is more than what we can say for other book adaptations.
well yeah but they can't make them exactly the same and they did a better job with these than a lot of books.
Fadhilah wrote: "yeah. but the films are not always same as the book. I hate it.."In the movies, they have to merge a lot of events together to abridge the story. Like in the HBP, Fred and George bombed Umbridge on the exam of 'Charms' and Harry had the 'Sirius' vision on the same time, though in the book, these were three different ocasions.
A lot of changes the films make are perfectly fine or actually necessary, in my opinion. Then there are the annoying, pointless, and stupid changes, which the HP films do have, but there aren't too many, which is why I also love the films. I think changing the location of the kiss was a good way to move the story along - I just wanted a longer and more passionate kiss to show that the Harry/Ginny relationship is a serious one.

yeah, that would be nice with the HArry and Ginny thing! ahah i didn't like the kiss in the 6th one...
Yeah, the Harry/Ginny kiss was more or less similar to the Harry/Cho kiss. It didn't feel any special. Others would think that Harry turned into quite a casanova after after the 5th book.
Yeah; the kisses look pretty similar, but even the the Harry/Cho kiss is longer. The Harry/Ginny kiss is just a peck.

Fadhilah wrote: "and you know, I think in the 6'th book, Ginny didn't kiss Harry in the room of requirement!"And then it kind of messes up the thing when Ron kid ofs nods his approval of Harry kissing Ginny.
Yeah but thats the way a lot of big brothers are over their baby sisters...I know my brothers are...
Yeah, and Ginny's the only sister after six brothers. She's supposed to have all her brothers follow her every mood.
Laura wrote: "ya and than you never really know if he apporves if you havent read the books but thats just me"Hermione says Ron is okay with it at the end on the tower, but I see what you mean. Still, from the film's point of view, I think the kiss in the RoR would have been fine if it had more passion.
