Is it only me or does Mordaunt seem to be an evil version of The Count? They are both after revenage. In a way Mordaunt is hurt like The Count. His postion is taken away from for his Mother's crimes not his. His Mother is killed and to the child Mordaunt she wouldn't have been evil. I couldn't help but, have some sympathy for Mordaunt. Mordaunt though unlike the Count does go to far with his revenage.

Haven't read this yet. Will be starting the whole Musketeers cycle from scratch soon though.Am curious to see how Mordaunt manages to go further than Dantes in the revenge stakes. His mother set some fairly high (low?) standards for him in the family business.
