That works. Going to reword it :)

Thanks - not having read the books before, I wasn't sure if the MCs being friends were a major point or not or... something. :)

That is priceless!!
I can't wait, either!! That is too funny, Heather. I don't think my library lets people put holds on books not yet in the system. I'm going to preorder mine, just as soon as the Borders website starts cooperating with me!

My library lets you put it on hold if they have preordered copies or if copies are there just not barcoded yet...
I got a Mockingjay pin with my preorder ;)

I know- they are so cool!!!
If you know a teacher around you, you could probably have them preorder one for you from Scholastic and you'd get a pin.

Mercy on These Teenage Chimps by Gary Soto 8/2/2010
Ronnie and his friend Joey have turned thirteen and all of a sudden everything has changed: they are chimps (Ronnie's way of describing how they are changing). The story deals with a few days in the boys life right after their birthdays. Joey has decided to live in a tree and never come down, so Ronnie has to fix everything so Joey will go back to his normal life.

So... three points for these two?

You get 2 points for the first book you read within the month. You then can get 1 more point for every other book you read that fits the criteria, through the end of the month.
If you miss a month, you may go back and read 1 book for 1 point (for example, if you read a book with the word "summer" or "sun" in the title, you may get 1 point for June's task). Post those books and points in the appropriate discussion board.

Fixing the points now.
Erin, if you have anymore questions, feel free to message me. :D
