Hi. I just submitted to Bitsy Bling's Book Review. I love how you compare literature to bling. Yes, isn't it sooooo pretty and sparkling! Sometimes a bit rough and unpolished, sometimes so polished it squeaks....

I have submitted a response also. Thank you, not many people are willing to offer that.
Thanks everyone. I am drafting up each post with picture link to your books ect. I've decided to feature an author every Tuesday (run for a week) and then it will go into the "Hot Seat" category tab on my blog so people can browse through all the author interviews if they desire. I may have to tweak my time line if I get more submissions. I also will continue to tweet.I truly believe in supporting arts and especially writers. The community is growing. It doesn't cost me anything and I enjoy doing it. First and foremost, being a good person is my ultimate goal. Anything else that follows is just great karma :)
Thanks to all of you for participating! The best answers are 'pet peeves' Some really amazing things said that have made me really think. Awesome stuff!
Charlie
It's really awesome Charlie that you are doing this. I have to get our interview process going again over at the podpeople for those Indie/Self-published folks.Keep up the awesome work. As soon as I have a minute to breathe I'll submit one to you as well.
I sent mine in--noticed you didn't have any science fiction/fantasy, so I hope you'll consider mine.Homecoming
Sue wrote: "I sent mine in--noticed you didn't have any science fiction/fantasy, so I hope you'll consider mine.Homecoming"I haven't reviewed a sci-fi fantasy book yet, that's why the category is not up, but I certainly will feature a sci-fi/fantasy author. It's a very popular genre and I think I need to get to reading some books.
Well, if you'd like to try mine--check out the website first--I can certainly send you an author copy to review. It's not hard science fiction, and my two Amazon reviews are from people who don't normally read SF/F.
I just submitted my form too. I feel so important and real-authory now! :DThanks so much for this opportunity!
Hi Charlie,I submitted my entry. My books are science fiction and have a bit of their own bling. You may be interested to know that the Otharian people have PSI [psychic:] powers that are fueled by crystals aka diamonds.
Thank you for the opportunity to submit my interview.

Filled mine out. I write the full spectrum of books, so the one I submitted is fantasy romance.Brenna
Thank you, Charlie. I submitted my form, with a focus on my novel as opposed to the non-fiction. :-)
Diamonds are just crystalline carbon. You can't eat them and can't read them. But they sparkle so nice! And they make other girls envious. Ain't that reason enough?
Oh, by the way, I left an interview. Cheers!
Valerie
Hi Charlie,I just finished filling out the form for my book, Angel in a Fur Coat. It was fun filling it out, thanks for the opportunity to tell my story.
I am in. Finished the interview and think this is a great idea. Now if we can only get Oprah to read them and choose a few of the interesting ones.
Thanks, Charlie! I filled out the form and will mention your interviews soon in my blog. http://duanesimolke.blogspot.com/
I just filled out the form. Happy reading, and thanks for the opportunity!
I just got back from 2 weeks camping way up in the boundary waters area of Minnesota, so I'm just now trying to catch up on the 1000+ emails I got during that 2 weeks of no wi-fi! I submitted my author info today. And thanks for a chance at more exposure. As a new author, I used to think the hardest part was getting published. Now I know the hardest part is trying to find readers!
Writer resources....I mentioned before that I was going to link to Charlie's blog. Visit the following blog entry for that link, and for more writer resources.

Looking forward to filling out the form. Thanks for having such a wonderful site for young authors breaking out.
I didn't notice until after filling out the form that you started this in June of last year. Whoopsee. Hope you're still accepting forms. :-)
Thank you,I filled the form out even though I see it's been a while since you have posted this. I still hope you are looking at the forms.

Thank you Charlie, for that opportunity to vent.I'm not sure you should have asked me about my peeves...but I stand by my answers.

Are you interested in police procedurals? I have a new book, on Amazon Kindle and just released on B&N Nook. Here's the description. Is it a genre in which you would be interested?A New Jersey police sergeant is haunted by a nightmare that a local sailor’s long-ago suicide was really a murder, but local officials won’t listen. In desperation he seeks help from INSIDE STORY, a law enforcement magazine that specializes in investigative reporting. The seasoned investigators are blocked at every turn. But finally the local wall of silence begins to crack, revealing much more than the crime fighting reporters expected.
Thank you very much for this thread Charlie! I swung by your blog, really loved the layout & look--and the 'bling' rating system. I filled out the hot seat form, please let me know if there's anything else you want/need.Sincerely,
Eryn
