Hey guys! I was wondering who are your top 10 favorite characters? I'll start, mine are:

I also like Sanjit and Brianna, so they would be my 11 and 12 picks. :)

So we mostly have the same picks, Aus, just a different order. I'm curious to see what you like in Astrid, as she was probably the most frustrating character for me in Lies.

Hey Lena, I like Astrid for a few reasons. The majority of it is carry over from Gone and Hunger but in Lies i really enjoyed her getting a taste of what Sam had been through. I think it was good for her and Sam and will allow them to become close again, or atleast i hope.

As to your list, I think its interesting that Hunter is up to number 3, do you know enough about him? I feel like hes a character with a bunch of potential but i dont know much about him yet!

@Aus: That is why I like Hunter so much. He is so simple and there isn't much to learn about him (now that's he's partially brain dead). He just wants to hunt. He's not getting mixed into all the FAYZ drama and having moral dilemmas and whatnot.
And I can kinda see your point on Astrid. I mean, she did get what was coming to her, and I thought her little fight with Nerezza was pretty kick ass. But idk, she just really frustrated me in some parts. *shrug* To each their own :)

I think I really like Sanjit, too, I just don't know him well enough yet. Virtue also cracked me up with the whole "It kinda hurt when my penis fell off" thing, too.

Yes, I have Caine for like and dislike because I am a weird child and both hate and love him. My love is stronger than my hate, placing him as my second favorite character. I hated him in most parts of LIES, but loved him and his now-and-then stupidity in GONE and HUNGER. If he gets better in PLAGUE, he will probably be tied with Diana as my #1 favorite character. :D

Oh, I forgot Orc! He'd probably be my #11.

My least favorites have no particular order:
Mary, Lana, Astrid, Penny, Caine, Nerezza, Penny, Brittany, Albert, and Zil.

I was so disappointed in Caine and Lana; they were up on my favorites list in the other two books. *sigh* Guess no one is perfect...

I agree with anyone who dislikes Mary. I never really liked her from the start, but once i read Lies i cannot stand her! She is so pathetic and i couldn't believe sahe tried to kill all the littles! Also, about Penny, i always wonder where she came from? If she had that useful of a power wouldn't Caine have used her earlier? Although i guess she could have developed late.

As for characters I dislike, theres Albert, Quinn, and all of the "Human Crew" (mostly Lance/Hank. Although hands down, Albert is my least favorite. I cannot stand that guy!

I dislike Albert strongly. I meant to add him to my list as well. He's possibly tied with Astrid on my dislike list.

@Adam: She's so, so week in LIES it's difficult to stand.

I liked Diana the best from the beginning, back when she was evil through and through. I REMAIN LOYAL.

i hate astrid now. i cannot stand her. and i dont like mary or penny in lies. caine is too interesting to hate, though, and the whole diana x caine relationship is so interesting. albert is SO ANNOYING. and nerezza? does she even count as a character? she sucks. and drake. he sucks too.

He is not a creep. He's just a little kid who hasn't hit puberty yet.
He is not annoying. He is useful and actually doesn't have very many scenes, compared to other characters.
He is not weird. See #1.
He does not look funny. He is a fictional book character, he only looks how you imagine him (though his true form is in MG's imagination)

He doesn't really work for anyone. Remember in Hunger, he went against Caine? And besides, I thought we all agreed Caine was cool? Why would being on his side be bad?
