Has anyone started reading this yet? I need to start. It's not very long so I think it will be an easy read (easy in the sense that it's kind of short -- not the topic).
Oh good! I'm going to pick it up as soon as I finish Outlander, so maybe we will be starting around the same time.

I agree, I can't believe the 1st week of July is already over!
It looks like we're all on the same page anyway.. not quite starting but will soon.

I got my book yesterday! I have to finish Wuthering Heights first, so I'll probably start reading this one this weekend.
Zoe, how far have you gotten? I'm starting it today. Are you still liking it (you said it was still good at chapter 3 earlier).
I finished it last night! I really liked it, I thought the format was really interesting. Each chapter is essentially a short story from a different character's viewpoint, but they all interconnect. I also really like books set in and around L.A., since that's where I grew up :)
Seriously, you are one of the fastest readers I know. Not to say that this book isn't great, but in general you read quickly!
Yeah, I like books that are set in a place that I can picture. Often it brings them to life even more.

So, I'm not far yet because there has been very little time for reading these past two days... but I forgot to comment the other day after I read the Author's Note. What was that?!? I got nervous for him. I couldn't tell if it was real, or what. I guess I'll know more when I finish the book -- but I'm curious if she ever saw his message and if she did, did she contact him???
I really like this book. It is interesting to read (especially living in LA) and it is well written. I am not speeding through it, though. I think it might be one that I pick up and read a section here and there so I won't finish it this month, and (so far) I wouldn't consider it an unputdownable.. but it's good and I will finish it.
