I was going to re-read this novel but I just haven't had the time!I will say that I found it enjoyable but I had a harder time getting into it at first. I loved all of the new characters they brought in to work with Katniss and Peeta and I'm incredibly excited to see where the story goes in the third installment, out next month.
The ending killed me. I wanted to throw the book out of frustration. I kept thinking "Man, they sure have a lot to tell me still with these last three or four pages" only to be proven wrong: WE'RE NOT GONNA TELL YOU ANYTHING, l0lz.
But yes, I'm incredibly excited for Mockingjay.
So...what did you think?
I tore through both The Hunger Games and Catching Fire last week and holy crap. I can't remember the last time I got so sucked into a series. I was a little worried at first because everyone has been speaking so highly of these books I was concerned that they wouldn't live up to the hype, but I went in with an open mind and absolutely loved them, intriguing plot, interesting characters, what's not to love really?
And I must say, Suzanne Collins sure knows how to end a book, I don't just want to know what happens next, I NEED to know. I cannot wait for Mockingjay. Can. Not. Wait.
