7th I like books that kind of start out like theres no hope in the world then in the end the good guys win

I'm surprised so many people are saying #5. A LOT of people I know really hate OOTP because Harry is acting all oh-poor-me-ish. I like it though. Umbridge I think is one of the best baddies in the series along with Bellatrix and Voldy (of course).

The 7th (best book ever!) and the 3rd (the only one really without Voldy popping up in it - plus, it had a werewolf).

I can't even compare them because not only did Harry grow as a charactor, but she grew as a writer. So in a sense the books got better as they went along.

Hm, also true. But I believe that some of the books were still slightly and noticably better than others. ;)

i liked the third book too, it scared me when i read it (well, i read it first when i was in third grade) but it had everything that you expect in a J. K. Rowling book.

I love The Order fo the Phoenix and Deathly Hallows the most. My least favotite one is The Prisoner of Azkaban. (I still really like it of course.)
