ൠSinful (sinful) | 118 comments I am at the beach with a middleschooler who loves the Twilight books and needs me to download something new on my kindle for her. So, Librarians, YAs and YA readers...help!

Can we have no sex. :) (not on my watch. Let her mom buy it)

I read Shiver and thought it was good. But I could use help making a list for her. Thanks!

Joseph (bluemanticore) | 216 comments She might like P.C. Cast's series that starts with Marked.
Some other authors you might want to look at are:
Vivian Vande Velde
Kathryn Laskey
Lois Duncan
Isobel Bird
Cate Tiernan
Celia Rees
They're not vampire UF per se, but they have their own magical UF stories to tell.

DarkHeart "Vehngeance" (darkheart) | 737 comments I don't think I would recommend P.C. Cast's if you're looking to avoid sex. It's not in there in abundance, but it's there.

The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins is a good one:
The Hunger Games (Hunger Games, #1) by Suzanne Collins Catching Fire (Hunger Games, #2) by Suzanne Collins

I have another series you can add to your list of sexless books, "Darkest Powers" series by Kelly Armstrong, I just finished reading the series, it was totally awesome, but the book looks as if it has a huge label saying "Warning,Sexual Desires Prohibited" lolz! I expected a whole lot more in that category, but the series was good,=)

Jessa Slade (jessaslade) | 114 comments Jeri Smith-Ready has a new one out, Shade: angst, young love, ghosts :)
Shade by Jeri Smith-Ready

I'd second Melissa Marr's starting with Wicked Lovely.

For some oldies but goodies, check out Nancy Springer's series starting with The White Hart. More fantasy but very poetic and full of longing, perfect for YA. The White Hart (Book of the Isle, #1) by Nancy Springer
