Kayla walked into the classroom. Her dress was casual, wearing a pair of fitted jeans and a tank top. Over her shoulder was a brown book bag that held her favorite books and a journal to write in. She looked around, then set her bag down on a desk three rows from the front.
Rosalie stretched in her chair at the back of the class, facing the back wall, a headphone dangling casually from her neck. The faint sound of 'Electric Feel' blasted through. Rosalie stretched her legs, encased in high-waisted dark wash skinny jeans from Guess that hugged her every curve. Her feet were encased in five-inch high Monaco wedges that dangled with silver charms. Snapping the turquoise bra strap that she wore over a floaty, pale green peasant blouse, Rosalie tapped a pen against her bottom lip, impatiently waiting for her first class of the year to start. Her desk was already spread with various notebooks open to random pages, showing off her poems and stories, complete with sketches and cutouts from magazines to give the pages a more artsy look. Turning around so her glossy straight hair spilled over her shoulder, Rosalie glanced at the front of the class. Two girls had walked in, both in casual wear. She gave them a friendly smile and a dainty wave, her french-manicured nails shimmering.
"Hey, guys," she drawled out, grinning brightly. "I'm Rosalie Chenier. Pleased to meet you."
Abigail waved at Rosalie her lips in a perfect smile, Her huge earrings tossing with her long Bleach Blond Wavy hair. Her shirt held tight against her showing her tiny stomach, Her mascara and fake eyelashes making her look beuatiful

"Hi!" Izabel wispered, walking in clutching her overflowing binder that was stuffed with papers. She had drawn all over it, with bright green pen. She walked to her seat, wearing a black pegus shirt, and dark green skinny jeans, and bright pink hightop converse. She grinned, showing a row of braces, and waved to Rosalie and Abby. "I'm Izabel," She said flipping her long blonde hair, "The True Alpha from last year." She giggled. "i cant wait for this year! Its gonna be AWESOME to see whose the True Alpha this year!" She said with a flick of her black and pink nails.
Kayla smiled, glad everybody was getting along well. She sat on top of her desk, perched easily on the edge of the wooden surface. She kicked her shoes off, and was glad that she didn't have smell feet. In fact, they smelled like strawberries. She fingered the necklace on her neck and waited for the class to start.

"Hello Class!" the teacher, Ms Garcia, said to the students, "Welcome to another year at Alpha Academy. I am Ms Garcia, and in this class we will be learning about literary people, and about the stories behind the storys. I have some very excited news! I have just been alerted that our class, gets to chose which book, the end of year play is based on! We will decide what book later in the year. The first book we will be reading is The Hunger Games. Here at Alpha Academy, we want to have fun reading. This book is very enjoyable, and I think you will like it. Any questions?" Ms Garcia said looking around.
Kayla was happy, but she did have one question. "What if we have already read that book?" she asked, her voice shy.

"Well then good for you!" Ms Garcia said warmly, " You can help the other students, and try to go futher into the book. Figure out WHY the Gamemakers want to kill Katniss more, WHY the hate rebelion. We will have a project, but it will be fun, I promise. We are going to be working closely with the other classes this term, (The next 2 weeks), to create a Hunger Games Movie. You will be working closer with the Writing class than anyone else. The Writing class is going to write the script, and you have to make sure it is acurate, and you get to make the movie how ever you want!"
Regan rushed in, late. "Sorry! I JUST realized that Literary was first up for me, not Singing," she said, quickly apologizing. She sat next to Kayla, straightening her pink and white striped v-neck t-shirt with a quick brush of the hand. Her skinny jeans conveniently continued down to past her ankles, leaving no skin showing where her pink and white vans began. She set her bright pink backpack on the floor, taking out her own copy of the Hunger Games. "It's such a popular book, I figured we'd be reading it this year," she said cheerfully. Regan quickly put her hair up into a perfect pony tail, her side bangs not staying up any more than a second. She sighed and tucked them behind her ears, finally looking at Ms. Garcia attentively.

"Thats fine," Ms Garcia said warmly, "Just be on time!" She smiled
"Hi!" Izabel mouthed to Regan. She smiled, her braces glinting. She doodled a bit more on her binder. She had already read the hunger games, and she thought that the assignment would be really fun. She grinned and looked around the room.

Regan smiled at Izabel warmly, mouthing "Hey!" back to her. She sighed, knowing she was probably the only person in the room that hadn't read the book. She took out her 'special' pencil, that was black with pink stripes on it, and pulled out her matching journal. On the journal were the words, 'Regan's Literary Journal' along with some fancy scribbles that were supposed to be her signature. She placed her copy of the Hunger Games on top of it and opened it up to page one, reading through it fast.

Izabel listened as Ms Garcia droaned on and on about the project. She knew EXACTLY what she was going to do. She smiled to herself. She looked down at her shoes, and smiled. Everyone had signed them at the end of last year, so the hot pink was accented with black. She giggled, then imediately went quiet. All eyes were on her. "Sorry!" Izabel said embaressed. She looked up through her bangs and eyelashes her 'innocent' look. Her blue eyes pierced through her blonde hair.
Kayla grinned at Izabel's expression, and then smiled at Regan. She also knew what she would do for her project. She pulled out her own copy if the Hunger Games and wrote her name in the cover, in fluent handwrting.
Regan smiled back at Kayla. What am I going to do? she though, completely stumped on what to do for her project. Reading the first page was easy enough, but it was definitely going to be hard to base her whole report on the first page. Of course, she would have to read the rest, but right now everyone was supposed to be planning out what to do. ((I seriously haven't read the book... O.o))
((it's good! You should!))Kayla was using the front page of her journal now, sketching out her plans in a mixture between drawing and writing instructions for herself. She snuck the book under the desk to Regan. She had written a note in it. "Skim." She was not a cheater, but she tended to skim read.
Regan gratefully took the journal, careful to keep it out of the view of the teacher. She skimmed through it, every once in a while looking up so Ms. Garcia didn't catch her, and got a pretty general idea of what to do. She handed it back to Kayla, saying, "Thank-you," softly. Regan copied down her basic plan in her fancy hand-writing, and then looked up at Amanda. She smiled and waved.

Ms Garcia looked around, "For this project, there will be partners that will assign, and those groups of partners will work closely with one of the writers." She scanned the room, "Any questions?"
Izabel grinned over at Kayla.

Rossalie raised a hand, lounging back on her desk. The wall image changed to a scene from Narnia: The Horse and His Boy."I thought we weren't allowed any outside influence?" she asked, raising her perfectly shaped eyebrows. She wasn't wearing any makeup, but she was the kind of girl that could pull it off and still look hot. Her tangled black lashes were completely natural, as were the colour in her bright green eyes.

Rosalie laughed. "Of course," she said. She furrowed her brow as another thought came to her. "Ms... Garcia? Is there any possible way I could take that class as well?" she pleaded, widening her already large eyes.

"Well," She said to Rosalie, then addressing the whole class, "It has come to my attention that many of you are writers in this class. For those writers, You will be in groups, not pairs."
Izabel smiled. The more people the better. She was a people person, and worked well... as long as she was in charge.

Kayla grinned, relieved. She liked doing things by herself, but she was good in a group, too. Izabel looked like she was an in-charge gal, so they would have to both be in charge. She hoped they could pull it off. She pulled her notebook back from Regan and wrote down a small note in it, then waited for Ms. Garcia to say they could pick partners.

"You may choose your partners," Ms Garcia said smiling, "NOW!"
Izabel looked over at Kayla and Regan. She had a feeling that they would work well together.

Kayla immediately got up and jumped over a few desks to go to Izabel, and then looked back at Regan, grinning.

Izabel giggled, her big blue eyes sparkling. She knew EXACTLY how she wanted to do it. This was awesome! She was in the Acting class too. This was her dream. She always wanted to be a actress/producer/script writer/director. Her eyes widened. "Hi!" She said brightly to Kayla, flicking her bangs out of her eyes. "Partners?" She looked over at Regan and Rosalie. She thought that Rosalie would work better by herself, and looked at Regan. She seemed nice. She grinned at Regan, and mouthed partners?

Regan nodded at Izabel, happy someone actually wanted to work with her. She looked up and looked around, seeing everyone elses partners. She had been a bit surprised when Kayla hadn't immediately hopped over to her, but relieved when she joined her and Izabel.
Grinning at Regan and Izabel, Rosalie plonked down her skinny-jeaned ass on a chair facing the two. "Mind if I make this a threesome?" she said easily, sliding open her orange-red-blue-white-and-green notebook. It was full of magazine cutouts and occasionally her own sketches which accompanied over 100 different poems, all penned by the owner herself ((A.N. i actually do have a notebook like that, i'll scan some of it sometime so you guys can see it :D )). "Wanna get started? Let's brainstorm some ideas," Rosalie said, ripping off a blank page and penning the title in her large, loopy cursive.
((Oh! YAY! *cheers* ^.^))Regan made a small wave to Rosalie and answered her by saying, "Not at all." She turned and pulled her own notebook onto the table, flicking it open to a page titled 'Katniss and Peeta.' She passed it over the table to Rosalie and said, "There's an idea, about focusing on their relationship and its... odd ends."
"Odd ends?" Rosalie asked, her smooth brow furrowed. She adjusted the ribbon of her wedge heel and flipped through her notebook. "Well if we're talking about rejected love, or love in retrospect, I've got quite a few ideas in prose and poetry here.love is...
Love for me is a cold December afternoon
a walk in the cold with my jacket
daringly undone
and a split-second feather-light kiss on converging
banks of snow
Love for me is a distant memory
of giggles in front of a movie screen
and impulsive hands slipping under fabric
small mistruths, big wet
sloppy kisses
Love for me is found in
a sweet angel-faced child, a sister
of perfection
and two eagle eyed hawks who steer me against
the wind of temptation
chemistry
the flash of hope before despair
(quickly hidden, quickly come
to finish a deal that's over and done)
the hit, the fall, the smile
the hidden bruise between the pools
of water
the glimpse of light before the dark
(easily in but not easily out
the lobster said in the lobster pot)
the fall, the dive, the shiver
the daring stale and tasteless gulp
of air.
the soft surprise: curiousity
(it killed the cat as we do know
its skin is hanging raw as dough.)
the stare, the breath, exhale
the confused and dulling waning ache
of fire.
the doubt that lingers before the trust
(a foolish thing, as fools would do
the heart of the foolish fool flew)
the hot, the humid, the break apart
the drying on the mess of tresses brown
as earth.
((both original poems, copyright Whimsicality/illiope/ariettas-soliloquium, blah blah blah ;p ))
((Whoa! That's amazing! You're gifted!!!!!))Regan looked at the poems with great interest. "Wow! These are amazing! Definitely gave me some ideas..." she said, tempted to scribble in what she thought. She tucked her hair behind her ears and looked up at Rosalie.
((thanks! i'd be happy to share some more with you later if you promise to be hyper critical. :) ))Rosalie blushed. "Thanks. I get a rythm started in my head and sooner or later my brain puts random words to it. It gets pretty annoying, repeating on and off in my mind, so I put it to paper to make it shut up," she joked. "So what do you mean by 'odd ends'? Like, a failed relationship?" She doodled a psychadelic swirl of eyes and mouths on a corner of her battered notebook.
((Haha, hyper critical))Regan smiled and nodded. "Yes, sort of a failed relationship. But not exactly, since Peeta does love her... I'd say 'complicated'," she finished lamely.
Nodding sagely, Rosalie scribbled out a few ideas. "Tell me the story," she demanded, adding a few eyes and swirls to her doodle with a lightning-quick pen.

Arabella fidgeted in her seat. She felt out of place for some reason. Her curly blonde hair was pulled loosely into a ponytail. She had on blue toe dyes Jean short shorts a blue tank top and a black zipup adidas sweatshirt. Purple converse completed her look. She reached into her bag and pulled out pride and predjudice and was suddenly engulfed in the hardships of love and tremoile.
Susan's flying fingers stopped. "I'm stuck..." she muttered. She knew what the cure for writers block..or typers block was. She reached into her backpack and pulled out one of her Luxe books.
Amy walked in having a seat at a one person desk.
She wrote a book report on the book she had just read. She put it in the tray by the door when she walked out of the room.
