hahaa myy dad told me ii shouldn't play an instrument in my schools band in 3rd grade cuz he saidd ii would just mess up everyoone else.. hehee ohh parents XDohh tht sounds fun!! XD havee fun with tht =]

I don't do ballet as much though, I am a jazz dancer, but I've always loved ballet. I've finally convinced my mom to let me hire a private ballet teacher so I can get on point one day!

I feel bad for you guys that your not doing pointe and you older than me. i think everyone should get pointe shoes around the same age as me. happy NY!!!
haha, don't worry about it. I haven't done ballet for several years, but Im hoping I will be up some time early 2012
yahh samee with mee XD this is onlyy mehh 6th year in ballet, and not consecutive. and i don't htink people should get pointe the samee age. different people are built differently, and same goes with their feet. some peoplee are just built take time to streghnthen their feet for pointe, and others can just take a lesson and get it perfect! =]
agreed. i've been taking ballet since i was four and am not on pointe. (im 14) but our dance school invites only 10 or so people to pointe each year so i doubt i'll ever go on pointe

yeah, it is ture, i guess it does depend on what the person is like. Some people are ready before others!

yaa XD loll thts the wayy it goes XDplus sayy there were too pepolee of exact same age. person 1 took ballet for 8 years before she got pointe, and person 2 only took 1 year of ballet before she turned the age of person 1... hahaa thann person 2 is obvii not as ready as person 1... is tht too confussing??
ya, my friend only did ballet for 6 monthes before she got onto point. She has1 in a million perfect feet, and is extremly gifted in ballet. It just came naturally to her, and she had extremly strong feet as well

because I go on the train home with her sometimes (we carpool) she always has her point shoes, and THEY ARE SO COOL!
