Okay, since there has been little discussion of what our first book to read should be (except for Lynn, whose sole suggestion was basically a French existentialist musing on pain, death, decay and eternal suffering. Okay, I'm exaggerating a bit here. Joan Didion's book, the parts I read, are beautiful, but Mom already read it.)
I have an idea for a book that I think will be a fun summertime read for everyone. (And I promise it's not Devil in Dover. Hell, it has NOTHING to do with evolutionary theory nor science).
If you give me permission to make the call, I will get copies to all of you. I owe folks birthday gifts, anyway.
