I sort of had a feeling it was coming, cuz I couldn't help flipping to the last few pages - very briefly - and caught a few key words, but I was like, no way! that can't be it! I must be taking it out of context or something. Still I was totally shocked.
I've never been so...affected by something in a book for so long - I thought about it again today and felt....(will it give too much away if I say what i felt? lol)..anyway, i had the same reaction as I did to reading it, all over again.
Gotta say, Chloe's an amazing author for that.
Oooh, yeah, the premonition! Also, I think it might have something to do with the Mallory stuff from this book. And...something else, that I can't really say yet, b/c I think it'll give too much away...Arg! May 3 needs to hurry up so we can all just talk about it, lol

I know!!! I was dying to talk about it to someone yesterday, and I couldn't!!! I wanted to rant for a really long time in my review! But I was good, lol

I actually forgot all about it. I entered and I was like, 'yeah, that's not gonna happen' LOL, I was VERY happy :)

And is it me, or did the other part of that very shocking scene seem a little too easy? Like, almost...anticlimactic for that particular person? I mean, I was still in shock from the first one, but...idk...after all the trouble and build up...

But I'm dying to know what's going to happen now.

I can't think about the ending of this book without crying. so I can't think about. I refuse to. Who would've thought Neill would do that! arrrrghhhh!

Seriously! I keep thinking 'HOW? WHY?!? NO!!!' And I can't concentrate on anything else from my very large pile of books waiting to be read. I just keep wanting to go back and read the first 3 again.

I had to take a week break from reading. I had finals and whatever, but I couldn't read. I just couldn't. I really need to pick up a book this week or something.

I hate it when real life gets in the way of my reading. lol, I have a few hundred books(literally) waiting in my room - mostly collected from my library's book sale room :)

was it just me or was JOnah really hot in this book...haha. he was in Twice Bitten and all but I don't think that I really noticed him until Hard Bitten, he had more screen time..haha XD

Yeah, he was, but I always get tunnel vision for the main guy. So, I liked him better, but i was kinda going 'ok, back off buddy!' LOL!
Oh, and I totally loved what she said to Morgan - he so deserved it!

I know. Ethan is my #1, but OMG. Jonah...hehehe. I am so with you on the Morgan thing. I agree wit everything she said to him. He asks like a spoiled little brat and as far as I'm concerned I see him lower than his status as a master of one of the houses. He clearly doesn't even derserve to be one. I'd love to learn more about Grey House though XD

I actually liked Morgan at first, and then I felt bad for him. But yeah, big baby now.
I don't really see him as his position either, but it's probably b/c he didn't really act it, he was still acting like he was holding on to the house for Celina.
Hopefully, he'll grow up in the next one.

I know. The more information you get about something in this story, the more you wanna know. I'm very interested in Merit's history now.
And, UGH!! I know it wasn't such a shock, finding out that thing at the end - but still! What a jerk!

I know, it will never be enough. But who knows, #7 got approved, not that long ago, so maybe there'll be more :D
Although, i gotta admit after the end of this one I'm a little mopey about continuing...I will, of course(I'm in too deep to stop), but I'm wondering how it's going to continue...

I love the cover of hard bitten. I think it's the best yet. on the cover of drink deep, merit had too wide shoulders, her breasts seem to have doubled and she doesn't have any hips at all. I liked the cover from book 1 and 2 except for her face because she looks weird with her hair cut that way. no at all what I imagined. the cover from book 3 was better but it didn't make me vibrate from excitement like the one from hard bitten.

Hello! This is my first post on this forum. I can't wait until everyone can start talking about the book! And I now can't wait until November for Drink Deep. I guess I'm really happy that at least it's coming out this year, I don't know what I would do if we all had to wait a year! Happy Reading to everyone!

It was supposed to be 3rd May in US but not out until 12th May UK :( oh well - I shall just have to be extra careful to avoid the spoilers ;)

I am kind of disappointed in the book. It took the excitement out of the series and I am not sure the series can recover. When Drink Deep comes out I will probably read it but with low expectations. Really, this is only the 4th book and I am not sure why she chose this book to make dramatic changes in the direction of the story. Seems like a desperate attempt to change the story doesn't come along until the 6th or 7th book to keep people interested.

I am sad about how this book ended. PEOPLE YOU HAVE TO FREAKIN READ THIS BOOK TO UNDERSTAND MY MEANING HERE!

Did you even like the ending? I didnt. I was freaking out most of the day when i finished this and couldnt get to a computer. i dont have high hopes for the rest of the series either too.

Me and a couple of others seem to be the other ones who actually trust Neill. I didn't let the ending screw up my rating, but the ending was a big surprise, but I have lots of predictions on how this may go.

so is there like a rule here, should we like day one month til we can start posting spoilers. and I think there should be no spoilers for a while even if we are using the view spoiler button b/c some peoples can't control themselves LOL
