Charity Burbage is the Muggle Studies professor at Hogwarts until Voldemort and the Death Eaters capture her for writing a defense of muggles in the Daily Prophet. She's present - suspended over the table - at Voldemort and the Death Eaters' meeting in the first chapter of DH. She begs for Snape's help, but he can't act (obviously), so she's killed by Voldemort and fed to Nagini. Melinda Bobbin
Oooh! I like this game!
Melinda Bobbin is a witch who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Horace Slughorn made her a member of the Slug Club.
The only way I could have known this is because Im rereading HP 6 and I read that part. lolz

Elosie Midgeon was metioned a couple of times in the series. she had bad acne, which she tryed to clear with magic...but it didn't work. Falco Aesalon
Do the characters have to be from the books? I was just wondering because Falco Aesalon isn't - he's only from the PoA video game, I think.I'll post another name:
Agatha Timms
((Hey...its okay. I'll answer))Grindelward was a graduate from Durmstrung School, he was a distant relative of Bathilda Bagshot and came to live with her once. He became great friends with Albus Dumbledore when he was home looking after his sister. They planned a lot to make wizards superior to muggles, and worked for the 'Greater Good' of wizardry. But they had a fight over Aberforth, where Ariana died, and then Grindelwald fled.
Few years later, Grindelwald acquired the Elder Wand and was getting very powerful; so Dummbledore dualed and defeated him, and possesed the Wand for himself. Later, Grindelwald was killed by Voldemort.

Gaunt....Gaunt....ahha! Marvolo is one of the last decendents of Slytherin. He has a son name Morfin and a daughter named Merope. He lived in poverty in a beat up little cottage near Little Hangleton. He has a terrible relationships with his children. He tolerates Morfin but despises Merope whom he thought was a squib and expected her to do all the cooking and cleaning. He and Morfin physically and emotionaly abusive towards Merope. To the point of strangling. He spoke parsletounge to his children.Dedalus Diggle
Elphias Doge first met Albus Dumbledore at age eleven, during their first day at Hogwarts. He believed that their mutual attraction was due to the fact that they both felt that they were outsiders: Doge had contracted dragon pox shortly before starting at Hogwarts and Dumbledore was primarily known to others as the son of the Muggle-hater, Percival Dumbledore. Their peers at Hogwarts would often think of Doge as Dumbledore's "dimwitted sidekick". When Doge and Dumbledore left Hogwarts, they planned to take a Grand Tour of the world together. However, when they were staying at the Leaky Cauldron and preparing to leave for Greece, they got news that Dumbledore's mother Kendra had died. Doge attended Kendra's funeral and departed for the Grand Tour without Dumbledore. He wrote letters to Dumbledore about his "narrow escapes from Chimaeras in Greece to the experiments of the Egyptian alchemists". He came back home shortly after the death of Dumbledore's sister Ariana, whose funeral he also attended. Elphias Doge was a member of the original Order of the Phoenix. During that time, he was known to wear what Alastor Moody called "that stupid hat." He possibly fought in several battles of the First Wizarding War and survived the war. Elphias Doge was a member of the original Order of the Phoenix. During that time, he was known to wear what Alastor Moody called "that stupid hat." He possibly fought in several battles of the First Wizarding War and survived the war. During the Second Wizarding War, Doge was a member of the Advance Guard that escorted Harry Potter to 12 Grimmauld Place. When he saw Harry, he commented on how much he looked like his father, but had his mother's eyes. After Dumbledore's death, Doge wrote a heartfelt obituary for the Daily Prophet. He refused to assist Rita Skeeter in her project, The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore. Skeeter criticised Doge in her book, referring to him as "Dodgy Doge" and "Dogbreath", but these nicknames might also have been affectionate terms used by friends in his early life. Agustus Rookwood
worked in the Ministry of Magic in the mysteries department, he was a suspected spy for voldemort. Marcus Belby
Marcus Belby was invited once to the Slug Club because his uncle Damocles was a student of Slughorn who won the Order of Merlin. He also invented the Wolfsbane potion. However, Marcus and his father didn't get along well with him, so after hearing that, he was kinda slighted off by Slughorn.Fabian Prewett
Cormac is a student of Hogwarts. He thinks very highly of himself, yet most dislike being near him, though he is quite good on the quittich pitch and is very attractive. He was a part of the Slug Club and he took Hermione to Slughorn's Christmas Party. Pius Thicknesse
Mirza wrote: "((Hey, where did you get all this? I couldn't find it in the books anywhere.))"It's been copied off Harry Potter wiki: http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Mai...
Fabian is mentioned in the books briefly, though - by Mad-Eye in OotP when he's showing Harry the photo of the original Order and by Molly in DH when she's giving Harry her brother Fabian's old watch for his birthday. Harry is said to look at Fabian's watch in the epilogue too.
Pius Thicknesse is the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement prior to Voldemort's take over of the Ministry in DH. He is placed under the Imperious Curse by Yaxley and replaces Scrimgeour as Minister of Magic once Voldemort seizes control. Voldemort, of course, is the one with the true power - Thicknesse is just his "puppet" (as Lupin refers to him). The trio encounters Thicknesse in their infiltration of the Ministry. (Thickness almost discovers Harry in Umbridge's office.) Percy duels him at the end of the book (and defeats him using a spell that causes spikes to come out of his chest) just before Fred is killed.
Wendelin the Weird
She was a witch in the middle ages that was burned for witchcraft(i think) 47 times. she enjoyed the tickling sensation created when she put a certain spell on the fire, so she was usually caught on purpose. Frank Longbottom
Frank Longbottom is Neville's father. He and his wife were both in the original Order of the Phoenix, and they were both tortured by Bellatrix LEstrange. They are both in the St. Mungross hospital (according to HP and the Order of the Phoenix). Mary Cattermole
Hey Fadhilah, its no fun if you copy google it or copy it off ... We have to recognize or identify the characters.
(Maybe you could at least put what you copy in quotes so it doesn't look as though you're writing it?)Mafalda Hopkirk is a witch who works in the Improper Use of Magic Office at the Ministry (she's an assistant there). All the letters that are sent to Harry over the summer for using underage magic (or, unbeknownst to the Ministry, being in the vicinity of someone else using magic) at Privet Drive (and Little Whinging) are signed by her. Hermione impersonates her during the trio's Ministry infiltration.
Celestina Warbeck
Celestina Warbeck was one of Molly Weasley's favorite singers, she sings in a band with her sisters (I think). The Weasley family listens to her songs on radio at Christmas, but none of them except Mrs. Weasley actually likes it. One of their famous songs are 'A Cauldon full of Hot love'. Eileen Prince
Eileen Prince was an exceptional witch. she was in the slytherin house during her school years, along with being a pure-blood. she married a muggle, the relationship was bumpy and they fought a lot. She had one son, Severus, who resembled her a lot. :PLavender Brown
I only remember that Ms. Vane kept trying to slip harry love potions. one memorable try was the chocolate couldrns, which ran into all sorts of troubles ;]Frank Bryce
sooooo familiar! X/ ...... let me think ..... *five minutes later* he worked for the ministry and went to visit the gaunt house in book 7. he never felt the need to say his blood status and had trouble dressing as a muggleMerope Gaunt
Moaning Myrtle was the ghost in the girl's bedroom where Harry, Harmoine and Ron made their first Polyjuice potion. She was killed 30 yars before by the Slytherine Basilisk in the very same bathroom, and the blame wentto Hagrid and he was expelled. She never left the toilet and took a liking to Harry. She was often teased by her classmates and thrown things at when she was alive. ((Someone ask a question. I can't find anything))
(The ages are about right for Voldemort and Hagrid. At the end of DH Voldemort (born 12/31/26) is 71 and Hagrid (born 12/06/28) is 69.)Wronski was a skilled seeker who invented the Wronski feint. I think he was Polish, but I don't remember the team he played for.
Dirk Cresswell
Dirk Cresswell(muggle-born) was one of Slughorn's favorites in the 70s. Head of Goblin Liasion Office. When Voldemort took over the ministry he tried to forge his family tree but was discovered by Runcorn and killed by the Snatchers.Albert Runcorn
Harry used poly juice potion to take his appearance while the real guy went home with a nose bleed. Millicent Bagnold

Please, don't check the book .... that spoils all the fun. Players are encouraged to guess too. I'll go first with an easy one.
Charity Babbage, who was she?
